The menu lists all ingredients of each item, and they take extra care to keep all items separate. You can watch them put your plate together so I was confident that everything was gf and exactly as I ordered it. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to make the meal as I asked for it.
The food is delicious. Souvlaki chicken, lemon rice, pickled cabbage are all excellent. However, they don’t know what they’re doing as it relates to allergies. With a little more effort and training they could be a great spot for GF eaters but I will choose to avoid this place going forward.
Food is set up in metal dishes in such a way that as they spoon glutinous items onto a plate some can fall into the non-gluten items. Staff didn't seem to really know what they were doing. The food I had in the late afternoon was left over from lunch, and was all dried out. Won't go back.
If you have celiac do not go here! I was so excited to see such great reviews and was looking forward to a place I could actually eat. Upon asking staff was rude and lacked knowledge of what gluten free was. Was told only 2 of thier meats where gluten free and the quinoa. They placed gluten on my plate as was extremely mad and rude when I said it needed to be remade. Plus lots of room for cross contamination and they would not change their gloves. Very disappointing especially after hearing the owner has family that is celiac.
This place is awesome! Lots of gluten free options. They even changed their gloves for me. This is my new go-to place to eat and I'm super sensitive to cross contamination. The portions are huge and it's good, healthy food! I have eaten here twice without any reactions.
The owners mother in law is Celiac, so he made sure his restaurant is set up for Celiacs to be safe eating there. The staff is properly trained as to not cross contaminate the few gluten full items. The food was DELICIOUS, a great price and really fresh quality! We will be back!
