I had a great experience at Grace. It appears they have taken the criticism from another celiac and fixed the sad issue of seeing others at the table receive complementary food that she could not eat because it was gluten. Also, there is now a menu with all items from the main menu that are gluten free or can be made gluten free. I could not eat the first complementary tasting of an appetizer. After that, however, I was given a hot from the oven gf roll when my husband received his roll. The compound butter was amazing with my crunchy soft roll. When the steaks come out, perfectly cooked and delicious, a complementary side dish was one I could not eat, sadly, but suddenly a waiter appeared with another gluten free side which was also complementary! They took my celiac very seriously. I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend Grace.

What a lovely experience. Daughter gave me a gift certificate to share a meal with my sister here for our birthdays which both fall in the same month. We are each fairly strictly gluten-free for at least 10 years. The service was impeccable from the moment our server asked about allergies and gave us recommendations. She did NOT steer us wrong at all. No gluten items were offered, and we each agreed we will likely bring our spouses back for a special occasion at a future date. We had the Wagyu to start, followed by the Tomahawk Steak and fingerling potatoes. Since we were celebrating our birthday, the server advised she was bringing us a complimentary dessert espresso mousse which was divine. The dessert was indeed complimentary, the ticket marked as gluten allergy, so we would highly recommend. If you are with a larger party who are not all gluten free, do them a favor, though, and don’t deny them the joy of eating as they like and are able as I’m absolutely certain their gluten offerings are also wonderful.

Despite no gf menu, our server was VERY knowledgeable and guided us well - we didn’t feel uncomfortable in the least. The Wagyu appetizer, Tomahawk ribeye, fingerling potatoes - nothing but divine! And a lovely espresso dessert. The receipt arrived clearly marked gluten allergy. It’s a two hour experience, but so worth it if you enjoy this type of dining!

Truly the worst GF dining experience ever. They asked about allergies but then repeatedly brought gluten to the table THREE TIMES during the meal. First they brought complimentary pork with hoisin sauce on it. When I asked the waitress if it was GF or not, she said it "should be" and would check. Since hoisin usually contains soy sauce I avoided. She rushed back to the table and worriedly explained that I was correct, it contained soy sauce and gluten. I thanked her for checking and avoided. After a round of complimentary freshly baked rolls my partner asked if there would be any more rounds of "complimentary" dishes and if they had any GF alternatives. When she explained there would be no more complimentary offers I was relieved but she expressed again there was no GF alternative to any of their complimentary offerings. The steak I ordered was mediocre at best for a "fine dining" restaurant. The dessert menu had one GF option but it was heavy on dairy and I also can't have dairy so I avoided. They offered me fresh strawberries as an alternative which was a nice gesture I guess, if it wasn't immediately followed up by the waitress bringing the rest of the party again "complimentary" freshly baked cookies and the chef coming to our table because "there were some questions about GF options" and rudely scolding us that "they don't do much for gluten free." He essentially told us that they don't care to accommodate me, (rudely, I might add) which is fine, but is out of the ordinary for a high end steakhouse where they ask you at the beginning of the meal about allergies and sensitivities. Overall a horrible dining and especially GF dining experience. I'd advise anyone who eats gluten or who enjoys good steak to stay the heck away from this place.
