Review of Grand Hotel

Decent selection of food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Problem is the staff are clueless and barely speak English. Their knee jerk reaction is to say an item it is not gluten free. You have to tell them to find out. Price is very expensive. Dinner was decent but breakfast was very disappointing. I had breakfast twice first was gluten free pancakes that were just so- so. Breakfast potatoes were very dry and not appetizing. Second breakfast was better. Had gluten free toast with eggs and hash browns that were excellent. Although the dinner was very good, it was VERY expensive ($70/person) and you are required to where formal attire. You can get an excellent gluten free meal at the Yankee Rebel Tavern on Astor street for half the price
