Communication is key for celiac's. I explain to them i need all clean products used to make my salad and that I'm a celiac, who is allergic to wheat, some people don't get what celiac disease is so sometimes you have to explain it.

Sometimes they get it, sometimes they don't. It took numerous times informing them that a dressing they had labeled 'gluten free' was not (Dorothy-Lynch. Wheat Flour is one of the first ingredients).

Other times I have ordered GF and they bring the salad out with a slice of bread in the bowl.

The short of it- be very specific and double check ingredients.

They change gloves and use fresh cutting board and knife when told about gluten allergy! They also have gf dessert! :)
