I always have a great gf meal here. Lots of gf on the menu. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Lots of awareness of coeliac and can adapt meals to suit gf. They are on first table too.

Staff were obviously knowledgeable about coeliac disease. The person serving me proactively warned me that there was not a dedicated fryer; all fried items being cooked in the same oil as gluten-containing items.This limited the menu considerably. I limited myself to a vegetable curry which I was told had gluten free ingredients. I don't know to what extent care is takento avoidcross contamination when cooking curries. I felt a little ill the next day. The menu was not marked. I had to ask.

Big shout out to Great India on Manners St Wellington. They know coeliac requirements down to T and go out of their way. My husband and son got poppadoms with chutneys and I said I'd sit that out. When they found out I was coeliac and the reason I said no, they went out of their way to bake a set I could eat and point out all the chutneys that were fine for me. Felt super safe here and in great hands

So many options available. Owner is very knowledgeable about their menu and what a Coeliac can have. Asked if gf or coeliac. 62 curry options and only a few things on their whole menu which were gf. Pomadoms were roast, rather than fried. Will certainly be going back again.
