This is our second time coming to gwl. I am an extremely sensitive celiac and I have never gotten sick. They make your food in a separate kitchen. At buckets they can make you anything except for the fried chicken. I got pizza at the pizza place and it is 10x better than it used to be. They must’ve changed the crust, I actually got worried at first because I didn’t think it was gluten free. I didn’t check out the new restaurant so I’m not sure if there’s options there but it’s nice going somewhere with my family that I don’t have to prep all my own food to bring with me!

The loose moose had Many delicious options. Chef David was fantastic showing me around the buffet to see what I wanted, then made it separate for me in the kitchen so I didn’t get cross contaminated from the buffet. very much appreciated, I didn’t get sick! I had ribs, salad, chicken fingers, French fries and a gf brownie. Only thing that stinks is everyone’s done eating by the time you get your food but it’s so worth it not getting sick and getting to eat what you want! Thank you David!
At Buckets by the water park I had gluten free chicken fingers and fries. Took a long time to come out but definitely worth it having it cooked separately and safely. I still haven’t gotten sick
Have to edit my review to take away some stars because the gluten free pizza from the pizza place was atrocious. I’m not picky at all but I’d never serve this to someone. It was so gross.

Went to Great Wolf Lodge on a trip. The front desk advises you to speak with the host to discuss allergy needs before each meal which we did. At Buckets for dinner our first day a manager came out and took my order. Food is prepared in a dedicated kitchen separate from the regular fryers and stove and brought down. The iced cream shop used a separate scooper for dessert later. For breakfast we went to Loose Moose, which is listed separately in this app, and they went over what I could eat including pancakes and French toast which would come from the back. Much better than expected.

I would not know if it was gluten free friendly or not. Went there for lunch and the restaurant was closed. They sent us downstairs and that was not at all what I was looking for.
Went to Hungry as a Wolf and Ben and Jerry's in the basement near the waterpark. The staff told me what ice cream at Ben and Jerry's was gluten free, and a staff member went in the back to thoroughly clean the scoop. At Hungry as a Wolf, despite having it not marked on the menu, they do have a gluten free pizza crust and if you say you have an allergy, they'll prepare it upstairs with no gluten near it and surfaces and tools that have not been contaminated. I had to wait 45 minutes for the pizza, but they give you a little buzzer that will light up when it's ready, so you can do other things and then just come back when it's ready. The pizza was very good (one of the best gluten free pizzas I've had) and I didn't get sick from it or the ice cream!

They advertise “gluten free options” at the front of the restaurant, but the options were “chicken tenders and fries or mashed potatoes, maybe corn”. We tried to make the best of that for our daughters birthday, but when it came out an hour later, after everyone else had eaten, it was pretty devastating. When we asked if they had anything gluten free for dessert, the server said he would check, but came back 15 minutes later with the check, forgetting to check, and ultimately they don’t really do gf desserts. All around, worst birthday dinner ever. We would have gone off site to find a better option, but they assured us there would be a variety of safe options available.

Great Wolf lodge in the Poconos has one sit down restaurant and it’s buffet style. The server will have the chef come out and show you what you can and cannot eat. Because it’s a buffet and cross contamination is highly possible, the chef will offer to cook you separate food. Trust me when I say this, take them up on this offer. I did not and became violently sick. There is also a lunch/snack type restaurant in the water park and downstairs. They will cook fries, pizza and chicken fingers in a separate part in the kitchen. Overall, they try, but be VERY careful and bring your own snacks.
Lots of choices on the buffet for breakfast and dinner. Your server has a chef come out and point out safe items. I am thrilled with the food. The next day and I’m still ok. I highly recommend the food. It’s not only safe .... but, delicious too!!!

I was expecting the worst and received the best! The chef is more than happy to take you around the buffet to show what is GF or cook something specific for you. I did both while here and it was all great. I am very sensitive to even cross contamination and I didn't get sick even a little. They have carved meats, the best mashed potatoes ever, sautéed vegetables etc.

Safe food -- takes quite a while for the GF Pizza, but very good!
Michael Wedderburn the chef walked us around the Loose Moose and showed us all the GF food on the line. He showed me packaging and made us anything else we wanted. He made my kids GF pizza and chicken nuggets. There was also GF beer. The chef checked on us 4 times! He discussed how he is extremely careful about cross contamination. He said he cooks carefully and used wholesome ingredients as if he were cooking for his child! He has even cooked for a family here that had 28 food allergies. He bends over backwards to make sure you are pleased. We are extremely happy with the restaurant and our visit.
Dinner was tasty. Lots of options and well trained staff. Breakfast just skip. Just not worth it for the money given the options. They are very good about making stuff in the back but you just don't have a lot of choices. The pancakes were tasteless.
This place caters to those with allergies especially gluten and peanut. There were several things to pick from. Chefs came out at every meal to speak with me and see what I wanted to eat. Dinner we had the buffet and seemed like there were more gf choices than not. They had salads, soups, sides, entrees, dessert. Great choices! Chef came out and made me fresh gf pancakes but they offer tons of options. Definitely recommend!
Food was mostly over cooked and not so tasty. Some of the staff very helpful, some not so much. One of the chef's was great, he has many allergies so he got it. One chef was clueless. Service was not great, and we were there during a slow period, just after many kids went back to school. They did a decent job overall, but the food itself was typical fast food fare. I wish there were some healthier options.

A great experience and some of the best gluten free food I ever had. the chef came out asked me what I wanted, I had pancakes, home made chicken tenders, french fries, hamburger, monk fish and incredible fried shrimp. everything was made to order in a dedicated cooking space.
