Green Gables Cafe

This is one of my go to spots for lunch. The food is very good, but their gluten free bread is not the best. It falls apart and I often eat the sandwich with a fork and knife, but their pulled turkey is so good! Lots of gluten free soups, bowls, and other options as well.

The turkey vaca Frita bowl was very good. The apple pie was odd. More of a gluten free bread pudding baked in a crust with apples on top.

Amazing place to eat & almost all their menu is gluten free. They have knowledge about celiac disease & this caught my attention. While vacationing, I felt very safe to eat in this place. Plus, the customer service that they render is excellent. You will love this place if you visit it.

I am so thankful for cafe’s like this one because celiacs need a safe place to eat.

Yum YUM YUM. Went here for breakfast and it was delicious and the staff was knowledgeable. My parents and I each had coffees which were well received by all. There are lots of options that can be modified to be gf and some that are already!

Came here for breakfast and the avocado toast on gf bread is amazing! And fresh juices are available here too. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend.

While staying in Coral Gables, I went to the Green Gables Cafe for breakfast one morning. Ordered the GF pancakes and GF avocado toast. Yes, they were GF, but both items were made with nut flours as oppose to rice/corn flour. In addition to gluten, I also have a severe allergy to nuts, and I reacted pretty badly to the pancakes (almond flour) and the toast (pecan flour). Wish they would have advertised the fact that it was NOT nut free! Although I can never go back there because I really can’t eat anything there, the pancakes were delicious (unfortunately I ate the whole plate before I reacted) and the one bite of the toast i had before I realized something was up was delicious as well!

Big disappointment. Staff was not knowledgeable at all. I ordered a GF tuna salad on GF bread. My companion ordered a pulled turkey sandwich. When my order came I questioned why it was in a wrap. Wrong order. My friend got a tuna quesadilla instead of a turkey sandwich. The website listed GF dessert. They didn’t have anything available. Never going back. Be careful. I did not get sick but wouldn’t be surprised if someone didn’t.

Great food, very healthy and tasty. Excellent service as well. I had a veggie omlette with gf toast. Highly recommend.

Plenty of GF things to choose from. Portions aren't huge, but the food is great! Definitely recommend!

Great GF options. Busy during lunch hour. If you are in a crowd you may have to wait a few minutes. I sat at the "bar" and the service was very quick. Friendly staff as well.

Not just for breakfast. I arrived at the height of lunch rush and experienced such great service! The food is simple, flavorful and healthy.
