I ordered a breakfast burrito and stated that I have a gluten allergy, the woman immediately said she would change her gloves and cutting board. I felt very reassured! Not to mention, the burrito was DELICIOUS and a large serving. I hope to come back before we depart.

Their prepared food was delicious and there were both gluten free and vegan options. However their prices are really expensive (even by our Washington DC standards!). A clamshell of mixed greens was twice the price of what you'd buy at the grocery store. Come for the prepared foods, maybe skip the groceries.

Such a great store and a wonderful cafe menu for anyone, but especially for those needing either vegan and/ or gluten free options as we do. It isn't easy to find that in the Lake Placid area and we ate here twice over the weekend. Super friendly too!

Lots of GF deli type options including prepared soups, sandwiches, smoothies, bowls, etc. They also have lots of GF groceries, fresh foods, cheese, hard ciders, produce, etc. I enjoy supporting an independent and local business in the Lake Placid area. One stop for all your GF needs!

I ordered a GF sandwich and made sure Allergy was clearly written on the menu. When I received a sandwich on cracked wheat bread I informed the preparer who insisted it was GF; the manager however did very quickly realize the mistake and apologized. If you are gluten sensitive I would be leary of anything labeled GF from this kitchen until the staff is properly trained.

Small counter service type of place. Came here after the nasty man at Bazzi’s pizza told me he didn’t have time to make a gf pizza even though the restaurant was empty. So I was grateful that they’d make my sandwich in the toaster in foil. It was way overpriced - 8 for a 12 oz smoothie and 10 for a tiny sandwich with avocado cheese and tomato- but it was tasty and safe. I’d go back if I had to.

Great organic place. Service was very slow. Friendly, but slow. Gf bagel was about 1/4 inch thick. A bit pricey for the amount of food.
Love this place! Almost all sandwiches can be made gluten free - and they are fresh and delicious! I crave Green Goddess in between visits to LP.

Got salad and my daughter got smoothy. All was great local food. I was even able to get bone broth.
I was so excited to find this privately owned, Organic cafe, juicebar, and health food store. When traveling, it is a huge relief to find the "diamond in the rough". The local, pastured egg breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you!
