I got the enchiladas since others recommended. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable but ultimately there's more cross contamination than I was hoping for. Corn tortillas are thrown in the shared fryer to soften them first (you can request they don't). All meat prep is on a shared grill. The red sauce has wheat so you can have white or green which are made with corn starch instead of flour. What I ended up with was delicious but it made me nervous to eat

I ordered the chicken enchiladas (gluten free) with their house sauce on top, with rice and beans. I’m back home 4 hours away and have thought about eating here everyday since!! It was so good!! I’ll be going back every time I’m in Saint George!! The staff was amazing!! Did my research ahead of time so I knew exactly what I wanted to order.

There are only enchiladas or salads for gf. It was yummy but extremely limited. Even the chips aren’t safe because they fry them in the same fryer as their flour tortillas.

The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable. My husband and daughter with celiac had no problems. We will definitely come back when in town again.
Yes
We called ahead and spoke with Slugger. He has several family members with celiac. He said if we let them know we have celiac they'll warm our corn tortillas in a separate pan. The rice, beans and chicken enchilada were all yummy and GF. Chips are not safe! Very yummy and very helpful staff willing to work with us!
