The server was very knowledgeable and I had no reaction.
Green Peapod (EDITED: was) my GO TO place when I want to eat out in the McHenry area. Amazing food but started to get cross-contaminated often. Their food was my favorite so I was bummed to stop eating here. If you have celiac, I would not recommend anymore.

I was excited about this place based on the reviews so I placed an order online. I called them to confirm that there would be proper precautions taken, but the woman on the phone advised me to cancel my order once she saw that I had indicated a gluten allergy. I can’t speak to the safety of the food because I didn’t actually eat there, but I would proceed with caution based on this interaction.

Server said almost everything on the very extensive menu can be made gluten free. I ordered pad Thai with chicken and it was delicious. No adverse reaction and highly recommend!

3 Members of our family have celiac disease, and this is our go to restaurant for take-out We order 2-4 times a month! The food quality is excellent, and we have never been gluttened. This is one of the FEW restaurants that I feel confident ordering from online, as they are so consistent with their handling of gluten-free orders.

Incredible food and ease of ordering! Full menu of gluten free options and everything was marked clearly on take out containers. I had calamari and lard nar, both so full of flavor and my stomach stayed happy!

This was the best Thai restaurant I’ve had in years. Not only do they have their own gluten free menu, they take cross contamination seriously. All of the food we had was delicious and I didn’t get sick (I am incredibly sensitive). I am so happy to add this place to our take out list!
Sooo much food and it was all so delicious! So many flavors and it was incredibly healthy.

The food here is great and my celiac boyfriend didn't get sick at all! Only thing I would criticize is that our server wasn't very knowledgeable about the kitchen's practices. She was able to tell us which items could be made gluten free and which could not, which is the minimum i would expect of a server and I'm glad she could help us navigate the menu. However, she couldn't answer our questions about what they modified to make a dish gluten free or about their practices regarding cross contamination. Not explicitly necessary, but we would've had more confidence if she could have answered our questions or at least asked the kitchen for the answer. My boyfriend decided he would take his chances without the specific info based on the good reviews here and he didn't get sick, so the kitchen staff must know what they're doing in making gluten free food. However, it would've been a better experience if our server knew the answers to our questions.

My teenage son, a celiac, loves it here. He especially likes the GF fried rice.
Friendly staff that was more than accommodating for this celiac-vegan! They made sure whatever I wanted would be gluten free.

They are great about making sure what can and can't be made gluten free if you advise them you can't have it. I've been there 3 times now, and have never been glutened. The food is great for me and my fiance (not gluten free), we both love it. And price is not bad. Great for take-out or dine-in. Only down side is the seating. Not a lot of tables, but we only waited 20 minutes on a Friday night.

Excellent food. Clearly marks takeout as gluten free. The Gluten free Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice is to die for. Never have gotten sick from here and most dishes are less than 10 dollars a piece.
