Beyond disappointed they no longer make gf fried green tomatoes!!! It was such a treat to get these in the past. Please please PLEASE bring them back
Had one of the bowls. Food very good and no reaction. The setup reminds me of Chipotle. One note: there fires not appear to be any outdoor seating. This odd is a strip mall
We had the gluten free waffles. They were loaded with fruit, granola and whipped cream. So delicious! I can’t wait to try the lunch menu.

my nima tested positive for gluten unfortunately after mentioning i have a severe gluten allergy :( (i got the siracha aioli, sweet potato fries and lettuce burger)
I have celiac and this is my #1 place in HB. Everything tastes good, and they take celiac precautions seriously. Not to mention everyone who works there is wicked nice

Tasty and lots of choices! I got the teriyaki steak bowl and it was delicious. Also, a good portion size. Other options include wraps, salads, soups and sandwiches.
I was so stressed the first day we arrived in the area because I am extremely sensitive and felt like there weren’t many choices that were safe enough to eat at. We decided on Green Tomato. I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered with GrubHub and it was clear on our receipt that they take precautions related to cross contamination. I did not get sick! I liked the sweet potato fries and I also enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer. It was crispy and delicious!
Love all the Green Tomato Grill locations! As a celiac I feel safe & the fryers are dedicated GF - the sweet potato fries & fried green tomatoes are great! One of my favorite places for breakfast & lunch.
My meal tasted great and I didn't get sick. I ordered a hamburger with avocado and sweet potato fries.Next time I think I will get one of their bowls. They look very good.
I can't speak for celiac disease but this place has so many GF options! They seem like they prepare the items separately. Their desserts are also GF and taste amazing!
Great gluten free options. Breakfast tacos were amazing, changed gloves for celiac prep, even though other foods were GF. Went back a few times during our week long vacation.
Really easy to choose from menu, lots of options clearly marked. We had the vegan burger, southwest salad, hummus and veggies and the cauliflower with excellent dipping sauces. Really clean, nice staff and had a great dinner! Will be back.
I Love eating at Green Tomato Grill everything is tried had been gluten-free, and very tasty. It is my go to favorite.
Most of the menu is GF or can be made GF. We had the grass fed burgers. My only complaint is my bun was cold, otherwise perfect! Friendly staff as well.
The grilled steak bowl was delicious. No modifications necessary to make it GF and staff changed gloves when preparing. They have a huge GF selection and it's clearly noted which items are GF on their menu.
The staff was amazing! They were kind and accommodating. I have allergies to gluten dairy nut and soy and did not hesitate to switch gloves. Ordered the southwest scramble, sweet potato fries and the pineapple berry lemonade. Food was delicious and I did not get sick 🙌🏾
Fave spot to get a great gluten free meal! So many gluten free options. Gluten Free Fried Geen tomatoes! They’re a little greasy but they are deep fried so that’s pretty much expected. Also tons of vegan and vegetarian options. I love the Teriyki Bowl, Miso Bowl, Thai Peanut Bowl, Chile Verde Bowl, and the entire case of vegan & gluten free treats! Strawberry Shortcake cup is the BEST. 🤤 always quick and easy to order and pick up or delivery available! They also have Paleo/Keto meals. Lastly, the lemonade is delicious.
The food is okay. The seating isn’t very comfortable. Their butter had mold in it- the single serving butter.
Yummy food if you are trendy GF but definitely not celiac safe. We ate there two hours ago and my daughter is in the bathroom doubled over in pain.
Staff understands Celiac. They change gloves and use a clean part of the grill. Excellent food with something for everyone!
So great to have a place to eat and not worry about any issues. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Ate here 3 times while in town for work for a week. Amazing, safe and delicious food! Loved the Thai chicken salad, fried green tomatoes and breakfast tacos!
Just stopped in from out of town. I have Celiacs and it was nice to have so many options! I got the beet and goat cheese salad and a side of sweet potato fries and my husband (no allergies) got the grilled calamari burrito. Everything was DELISH! Then we split a huge GF choc chip cookie which was soft and yummy! We’ll definitely be back!
I got the corn chowder and a kids tofu and rice and they were both pretty good for being so simple. I regret not getting a dessert because they had bakery items there
They have a lot of gluten free options on their menu, but if you have a soy allergy in conjunction with Celiac you can forget about it. Everything is pre-mixed in a sauce so they couldn't simply just whip up plain chicken. And veggies for me.. they do claim to have a separate prep area for gf food though, everyone in my party loved the food.. I just couldn't eat there!
The staff is super helpful and I have had four different dishes and have been fine! Clear labeling for gf options just make sure they know you have a gluten allergy and they tell the kitchen.
Two celiacs in family. It's a must stop when in Socal. Huge menu and family loves lemonade. I love poke bowl.
Love this place! The curry, teriyaki, and BBQ are my favorites, but you really can’t go wrong. Very familiar with cross contamination and celiac.
The food was tasty and everyone was helpful getting gluten free food! Such a treat to get gluten free fried green tomatoes! I am very sensitive and was just fine.
