Amazing service, the gentleman heard me speaking about gluten free options and came over to inform me of all the options. Many options, all roasted and sandwiches can be made with gluten free brown or white bread. The soup is always gluten free, scones are gluten free and plenty of cakes and desserts that were gluten free too.

The best gluten free scones I've ever had! In fact, best scones with or without gluten. Highly recommend!

We ate here today at lunchtime. Explained I had coeliac disease, and the gentleman went through the menu with me, explaining that bread could be changed for rice with the curry. Lots of choice, and 3 desserts on the menu, aswell as gf scones and a gf cake on the counter. I chose a cheese and ham toastie which came with salad and crisps, and was delicious, then had a scone with clotted cream and jam. Will definitely be returning, very friendly staff who were very aware on allergies and coeliac disease.

Lots of gluten free options and they seemed clued up about GF. Only disappointment was that the menu was not the same as the menu advertised online and was more limited

Was ssked if any allergies before ordering. I advised I was GF. Explained a range of options on the menu, having a choice of GF or substituting bread for rice etc. After placing the order a waiter came back over to check if allergies. I said I was GF. He went straight into the kitchen presumably to notify chef. I had the lamb curry with rice. Very tasty! Service was quick even though it was lunch time in August. I overheard them asking other customers about allergies, one of which had a nut allergy and he advised which meals were suitable. Good range of options. Reasonably priced considering it's the middle of Grasmere.

Lots of sandwiches, soup and deserts; sticky toffee pudding, Bakewell and brownies all GF or could be made so. Choices of white or brown bread, delicious.
