Food Market - AMAZING!!! So, so many options to choose from. We went for the cafe but saw it wasn’t safe for our family and ended up shopping in the market for our own little picnic.
Cafe - cute little place, but NOT celiac safe. Sandwiches made on small sandwich presses (offer GF bread on shared equipment). Would be fine for someone without celiac. Lots of vegan and DF options.

This is a hidden gem in Door County. We were there for the long weekend for a family a wedding and in our 6-person group we have 2 that are gluter-free, 2 that are vegan, and 1 whom is gluten-free and vegan (me). Needless to say we rented a place that had a kitchen. Not a whole lot available Door County for gluten-free vegan options; and that was before asking them specific questions to verify safety.
This is a little natural market with a small restaurant. I had the vegan banana pancakes made with a gluten-free batter. It had a delicious whipped cashew cream topping and fresh whole Blueberry sauce. It was so good. All their menu items can be swapped for gluten-free bread so it made it a wonderful choice.
Like any place today they did not have enough help, so we each got orders one at a time. But the options for our picky group made up for it. And all the staff were so kind answering all of our questions. Plus they have great coffee and juice smoothies. We found a few things in the market to buy while we were waiting for our food.
It is a cute place that the average tourist won't frequent. We had a delightful time with only a few people in the place so we could hear each other talk, so much to look at, and got fresh delicious food. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Door County.
