Red and green sauces aren’t gluten free but he said tacos are prepared on own grill or area separate from any gluten. I got fish tacos. They were decent, a good choice for Ruidoso.

— Good

Would not recommend. First, I asked for a GF menu and was told items on regular menu were marked GF. They absolutely were not marked so they came back after seating us to point out GF menu items. I ordered a grilled chicken breast only, and made sure they understood how allergic I am to gluten. When I got it, I took a bite and realized immediately there was a sauce/dressing on it, so I found the wait staff and said that it’s a problem if it has an unidentified sauce. They said it’s basically Italian dressing and I said “basically” doesn’t cut it in the world of allergies. They brought the container and I looked at the ingredients but it wasn’t listed as a gluten free item and had questionable ingredients, so I said it was going to be an issue. They remade my chicken breast without the sauce but since I had eaten and swallowed a bite, the damage might was done and I had to go run to Walgreens and get some activated charcoal caps. No apologies, no discount, nothing. Had to pay in full.

I called ahead and asked all my questions, and decided to give it a try. We got here and quickly realized it was a not a safe choice, so I grabbed a gf rice crispy treat from the Starbucks next door and watched everyone else eat. To be fair, everyone else’s food looked amazing and they all enjoyed it. This place would be fine for someone with NCGI who might be able to handle a small amount of CC, but it’s definitely not a safe place for anyone with Celiac.

Had salmon tacos. They were good not great. Rice and black beans were delicious

Although they don't have a GF menu or mark items as GF on their menu, they do have a few choices for those of us with Celiac Disease. I had the salmon tacos with a side of black beans and rice and everything was very delicious and I had no adverse reactions. I highly recommend this restaurant.
