They use canyon bake house gf bread. If you specify celiac they wrap your sandwich in foil before putting it on the grill press to eliminate cross contamination. Great food!!! Love the soup too!

This place is an awesome find! Had the Jersey Boy grilled cheese which had ham, pork, fried egg, and cheese and a side of tomato soup. All delicious and sandwich came out marked “GF - celiac”. It was toasted and made in a separate area of the kitchen. Great safety protocols and did not get sick!

Great experience. I went with my family and when they brought the food out they said they were remaking mine because it came into contact with regular bread. I was so thankful they followed the correct protocols and my sandwich was great.

The staff was knowledgeable about celiac and took precautions to make sure my meal was safe. I had the classic Johnny with ham added, it was delicious! They grilled my sandwich on a piece of aluminum foil and wrapped it in the same foil to reduce chance of cross contamination.

I appreciate any place that offers GF options and can safely prepare me a meal, which aptly describes this place. That said, I just did not like my sandwich (GF tuna melt), nor did my gluten-eating friend like theirs (I forget what he ordered). It was A LOT of bread, and not much flavor, and my tuna fish was very soupy, which made eating it as a sandwich impossible. I did not get sick and believe they are very careful.

The owner came out and spoke to us. Her daughter is celiac and she assured us that she takes appropriate precautions with prepping if we share the need. There are several more options for gluten free options now. Pb&j, tuna melt, Han & cheese, and several others. They are updating their menu. She was not aware that paper straws contain wheat binder but I shared that with her.

I've eaten here at least twenty times in the past two years. I always get the Mama Mania, and they're very good about asking if I need it prepared for Celiac just in case I forget. I am extremely thankful for them.

Sandwiches were absolutely delicious! They asked if I needed grill cleaned before preparing my GF sandwich which was great! Be aware only certain sandwiches can be GF.

I was asked if I was a Celiac when I asked for gluten free and was told they could make my sandwich in foil and in a press so it would never touch the grill. Food was really delicious. The tomato soup was fabulous. The rest of my family ate the Thursday special and loved the flavors. It was worth the few minutes drive off Route 81 for some comfort food.

They specifically asked if I was celiac and cleaned the grill for me. They served mine on Udis GF bread. The tomato soup is GF as well, very good, homemade and not at all like Campbell's. Please note that this is a food truck.
