I am extremely disappointed. After being assured that they had a separate kitchen and area for preparing GF burgers with buns, I was very confident in the ability of the restaurant to safely serve me. Unfortunately, after expressing the severity of my condition with the restaurant, I was still served a vegan patty, and took a bite, only to later realize this patty was not gluten free whatsoever. The staff did not seem to take the matter very seriously and was not urgent in giving me a refund.

I had a terrible experience at this establishment. My daughter has celiac disease and we were told the Grizzly Creek Lodge had a gluten free burger. We talked to the chef and I explained several times the severity of her disease but they assured me that they would prepare her food in a separate area to avoid cross contamination. They also assured me there gluten free bun and patty were safe. My daughter immediately alerted me that she was given a veggie patty which are not typically gluten free. When I checked with the staff they told me it was in fact gluten full. They seemed unconcerned with the matter and very uneducated in the danger of allergies. I also learned that their frier was cross contaminated, so the previous reviews stating that their fries are safe are likely outdated. All around a terrible experience.

I am extremely displeased by the service and the gluten free options. While at Knott’s my friend who has celiac disease was very excited about the gluten free options finally available. We were reassured by the manager that a gluten free and non cross contaminated burger would be provided. When we received the burger we discovered too late that the paddy was in fact not gluten free. The staff were careless to the urgency and the severity of the issue. They also no longer have a separate fryer and I would give zero stars if I could. Greatly disappointed in this establishment.

I am appalled!! at the customer service that has occurred in this establishment. One of my friends has celiac diese and recently heard they had come out with a gluten free burger. Together we decided to head to the place and even went as far as asking several times if the burger we were going to order would be completely gluten free. We were assured it was and we got served the burger. When she sat down she ate it and realized it was a veggie patty— which often isn’t gluten free. So we went up and asked if this was a veggie patty that contained gluten which they said it was. The staff didn’t seem to take it as seriously as they should have and we expressed that this could potentially be deadly. They seemed to show little to no concern to do anything but we ended up getting a refund in the end after much discussion. Overall I am very disappointed and won’t be returning and neither should you. I don’t think i can give it zero stars but if I could I would.

Knots has a great allergy guide on their site to tell you which locations have which items. Grizzly has hot dogs, burgers; pizza, etc. hot dog is cooked on gf surface, buns are packaged, separated cooking and prep area, gloves changed, etc. Fries have dedicated fryer so are safe.
