This place is a part store part restaurant. They often have pop-up food events.

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and tuna melt and both were very yummy. The gf bread does fall a part, but the taste is good.

The staff at the front didn’t seem too knowledgeable about gluten free (ingredients, sauces, if everything can be made gluten free, etc.) but they were very nice. I wasn’t too worried even though they didn’t have answers because the owner of Polenteria is a part owner here so I thought the kitchen should know as long as they mention it’s for an allergy/celiac. I asked about procedures and they did mention that the kitchen will cook the gluten free bread on a separate surface.

I didn’t get sick and I would recommend!

Felt so safe here - as the sister restaurant to 2 GF places in town, they get it. Their sandwich bread is tremendous and on the day we went, all soups were GF. Shared fryer so no chips but a great place to pick up lunch.

Grocer + Goddess is the sister restaurant/cafe to Polenteria and Oy Bakery. Chef and owners are very knowledgeable about gluten free items. Best gf breakfast in los gatos!! maybe even the bay area. highly recommend this place at their new location right next to the park in downtown los gatos!
