It doesn’t matter where you are staying or where you are going, YOU HAVE TO GO TO GROM. Not only was it the best gelato I’ve ever had (one dark chocolate scoop and one hazelnut/chocolate scoop with hazelnut topping), but the cones are amazing too. The whole facility is certified gf, including the biscotti they sell at the counter. AMAZING!

This place is completely safe. There's no gluten in anything, all gelato and sorbet flavors are gf. Even the cones are gf so there's no risk of cross contamination. The place is even certified gf. Also all the sorbets are dairy free and the extra dark chocolate gelato is dairy free.

The ice cream cone I had today (sea salt caramel and vanilla) was so good that I had to nervously check online when I got home to make sure they were still 100% gluten free, even though I double checked at the store. Very pricey but good ingredients and delicious.

Just want to clarify for people unfamiliar who may find these reviews confusing. This place has always been Celiac friendly but they used to have ice cream cones made of gluten. Now, the entire facility is 100% gluten free, event the cones! It's awesome.

Long line, but worth it. Gelato and sorbet, lots of interesting flavors, and all flavors (and cones!) are now totally GF, so no cross contamination risks!

Amy is an idiot. 100% gluten free. Safe for celiacs. No tub under the other tub business as everything is now gluten free confirmed by the staff. Who were nice. Not like Amy said, “meh”. Amy doesn’t contribute to FMGF so she doesn’t know that having a celiac safe place is a godsend.

Update: This location is now 100% gluten free. Part of the GF gelato chain from Italy. Here in NY they do serve regular cones, so you must indicate that you are celiac. The server will lift the bin from the freezer to access a second ice cream bin underneath used only for celiacs!!!

This is the BEST place in the city to get gelato!! They know their stuff, and are COMPLETELY GLUTEN FREE- yes, even their cones!! Trust me, you're going to want this. And the staff are incredible!

Oh my god, this place is so incredible. We went to both Grom locations while in NYC, and they were truly one of highlights of our trip. Both locations assured me that everything, including the cones, were gluten free! Both times I got the chocolate gelato because it was just so good. But somehow even better than gelato (and I REALLY love gelato) was the hot chocolate. It’s literally just the best got chocolate I’ve ever had. No reactions and everything was delicious. Absolutely recommend.

Everything is (currently) gluten-free, including the ice cream cones!!! The ice cream is delicious, but melts fast. On a hot summer night it started dripping the second I stepped outside, I had to eat it quite fast, but still ended up looking like a messy 3 year old 😂

This place is a Celiac's dream! Their gelatos are certified gluten free! They have allergens/ingredients posted for everything! So if you also can't have soy, for example (such as myself), you can check for that as well without having to hold up the line. I still had a question and the server was super nice about it. They totally get it here. They have two batches of every flavor and separate scoops for the gluten-free crowd to eliminate possible cross contamination from cones. Just mention you have celiac when you give your order. Did I mention the gelato is also fabulous?! Plus no preservatives or added colorings or flavors etc. Yay, yay, yay. Just yay!
