Unfriendly staff, ice-cream amazing but if done want ice-cream and you’re GF don’t think you can get a cake here- because you can’t. They have one GF option and it’s the tiniest, most pathetic bleakest thing I ever saw.

This is a chain that also has locations in Lisbon and Europe— best gelato I’ve ever had. I wasn’t able to get any here because they were cash only at the time we went in due to a broken card reader, but I’m serious it was the best gelato I’ve ever had. Go!

I was excited about the special gf offerings but when we got there all they had was regular gf cones. My friend tried to order affogato and they said they don’t do that despite it being on the menu. It was nice to have the cone but disappointed that they were out of everything else.

Ever since a visit to Italy years ago, we stop at every Grom we can around the world. The gelato is that good. And the fact that the entire shop is GF-- cones and all!-- takes this place over the top. Don't miss the strawberry gelato!

I first discovered Grom while traveling in Italy in 2018 and was thrilled to see that they had a location in London. Dedicated GF, so not only is all of the gelato GF, but so are the cones and toppings. Amazing for Celiacs. Limited DF options, but still have a few choices.

If you are just GF, this place seems amazing. However, I am also DF, so the experience was a bit of a letdown. The only truly DF options are a couple sorbets (grapefruit and lemon), which were pretty underwhelming.

No gluten reaction though, so from a safety perspective, seemingly 5 stars.

Everything is gluten free. Including waffle cones. Staff was spot on and knowledgeable. The gelato is made throughout the day and was fantastic. Awesome part of town and even better gelato / gluten free waffle cones.

I was nervous going in here because I couldn’t believe that it could all be gluten free. But it was and it was awesome! There were out of pastries but I was able to get a waffle cone, which I hadn’t had in 15 years!

I was so looking forward for trying this on our recent day trip to London but unfortunately for me the cones etc are GF but not DF. They were a bit vague about the ingredients, only saying there’s a small bit of dairy then eventually saying about 3% but not specifying what. The GF and DF melon sorbet was really tasty though, but super expensive when you’re a family of 5 compared to our excellent local ice cream place that is fantastic for allergies. It will be useful to know about the chain for a planned trip to Italy though.

Excellent gelato. Everything is gluten free including the waffle and sugar cones. They also have Italian coffee and amazing hot chocolate. Additionally, they note all products are free of coloring and added flavors - ie, just the natural ingredients - and they use no emulsifiers.
