My wife and I dine hear frequently. The variety of menu items available gluten free is great and the quality of the food is excellent. We've had omelets, salads, shrimp & grits, steaks, stuffed pork chops and their steamed platters and all were great. The sister restaurants are very much the same. Those are Luna's, Cosmo's and Colbalt.
Like someone else mentioned do be careful to mention that you are ordering the GF version of the dish you want because several entrees come in both a regular and GF versions.
Indoor and outdoor seating are typically available except in really chilly weather and there is a play area for children.
Also, check their website for their $10 lunch options and their off season dinner "sunset menu". There are excellent values on both.
Highly recommended!
They have a gluten free menu, which made it super easy for me. The place is gorgeous! I could definitely plan a big even here. Staff was super courteous and the GF meal choices were honestly better than the regular menu. I told my hubby it was like a secret menu since I had option of cinecuh stuffed porkchops. The ribeye was seasoned to perfection, no steak sauce needed, and i am super picky about them! It was so good, I graded it very close to the steak I make at home.
I was impressed with what they had to offer on the gluten-free menu. I ordered the GTs dip for an appetizer. I wasn’t thoroughly impressed with it. If I were to go again I would definitely just get the salad bar for an appetizer. I had the Shrimp-N-Grits for dinner and be prepared for spice. It definitely was spicy. I did enjoy it though bc not many restaurants offer a GF shrimp and grits. I’m not sure if they were just busy the night we were there but our service was sub par. We waited forever to get food and was only asked at the beginning about drinks. We were never brought a refill. There are many other options as far as GF restaurants so this would t be my first choice the next time.
Great steak! Gf menu is pretty good, next time I’m trying the pork chop!
Enjoyed dinner there last night. Always apprehensive when eating out, even when items are marked gf, because often they aren’t really gf for a person with celiac. Ordered from the gf menu and told the server I was very sensitive to gluten. Had the catch of the day (tile fish) over Parmesan grits which was very tasty, side of veggies which were very salty. Good service. Didn’t get sick at all! Whew
I got the shrimp and grits and it was so good! You just need to make sure you specify you want the gluten free grits with it or they will give you the fried grits which aren’t gluten free.
We enjoyed our meal ordered from the gluten free menu. I wasn’t 100% confident our waiter understood cross contamination, but since they had a GF menu, we assumed the kitchen would be knowledgeable. Our waiter asked questions and was interested in learning more about celiac disease.
They brought out a deep fired very glutenous crab cake on top of a “GF” shrimp and grits. When the waiters was questions she was confused about what we were talking about after having a 5 minute conversation about allergens when we ordered. It also took 2 hours to get our food off season.
Gluten Free menu and fabulous food. I had to take away a star because they have items listed on their gf menu that are cross contaminated in the fryer. The tortilla chips for the dip others mentioned are cc in the not dedicated fryer. 😩 I (celiac) had the salmon salad, my celiac daughter had the ribs. Both were fabulous.
They have a separate gf menu with lots of options. I had the shrimp & grits. Very rich - not exactly to my liking, but my husband loved the dish.
Ate here twice while I was on vacation and it was very good. The second time I ate here, my GF food came out with bread- I was told it was prepared GF but they accidentally put bread on at the end. Although this made me extremely nervous as they sent it back to make a new GF dish, I didn't get sick, thankfully! It was confirmed they remade the dish and didn't just take off the bread. I will be back.
Staff was very knowledge and helpful! A gluten free menu with many options! Manager came out and spoke to us about the menu, even offering to let me “test” a chip out before I ordered to see if I had a possible reaction due to them being fried.
