Not very safe. Staff was very aware, but still brought me flour tortillas with my meal. I was only able to catch it early because I cook a lot and am very familiar with the smell of corn masa. However, the steak on my fajitas was delicious.

Love coming here! I always get the fajitas with corn tortillas and it is delicious! The corn tortillas are made fresh every day and they are the best I’ve had. They also have really good margaritas. I can’t speak to other items on the menu, but I’ve been here a handful of times and have never gotten sick.

Plenty of entrees can be made GF, and my waiter understood my concerns. Chips are done in a shared fryer so avoid those, but the ceviche is my favorite in this area (just tell them to leave off the tortilla strips). I usually get fajitas with corn tortillas and haven’t had an issue.

Food was pretty good but not great (but we were in from AZ so our Mexican food bar is high). Once we asked questions we realized there were only a few options. Also it is a common fryer so chips not gluten free.

Get a manager and you'll be good don't trust the waiters, they don't know enough about CC. The chips aren't GF because they are fried with flour which ruins this place for me but overall you can get some pretty good GF Mexican food, especially compared to other Mexican restaurants in DC which are as a rule sub-par.

Disclaimer: I didn't actually order food, we had drinks but I talked with the waitstaff about wheat (celiac) allergies.
The tortilla chips are corn BUT they are fried with flour products.

The food was so so. The service was terrible. Went there on a Friday at lunch time. Tortilla chips were stale, the fajitas were dry, and the list could continue. Terrible, just terrible.

The only downside to this place is that no other restaurant will ever be good enough again. Go here, if you can. Almost the entire menu is gluten free, and the servers really know the menu.
