Almost everything here is gluten-free except the fish are breaded. I had their pork tacos, really good!

Awesome food! After going twice and talking to them, I can tell you the other reviews didn’t mention that anything that goes in the fryer isn’t safe for celiac folks. (The enchiladas for instance, are made with fried tortillas). But I go for the pupusas which are amazing! I like them stuffed with refined beans and cheese with rice on the side. Will update with other safe items as I continue to eat there!

Wish I could review the food Showed up and they are closed. Sign says open. Hours say open. No one around. No answer to phone call. Definitely check with them before relying on them to be open.
Everything but burritos are GF here, and the burritos are handled in a separate part of the kitchen. Pupusas were SO good - cannot recommend enough!

Been coming here for years and have never gotten sick. It's one of only two places in the U district that I frequent with confidence. The owner is lovely and can explain whatever you need to know about ingredients and prep etc. All of the pupusa along with rice and beans are safe and fantastic.

AMAZING! The only thing in the menu that contains gluten are the floor tortillas, everything else is gluten free. The staff is incredibly helpful and willing to answetlr any questions.
The rice is gluten free and does not contain malt.v they use Knorr bouillon powder (gallon sized containers).
The fried yuca is so good, it's crunchy and the inside is soft. The yuca had a more ridgy cut than fries so they're is extra cronchy surface area. Yuca is soft and fluffy and starchy inside.
Bunuelos. People. Listen. Such an indulgent joy. Gluten free donuts generally suck, I think we all know this. These bunuelos are not donuts. They are fried yuca dough that is as described above - rich, fluffy, light, cronchy. It comes with make syrup, not honey.
The pupusas and all of the good I've had has been wonderful. Eat here! Support these wonderful people by eating their wonderful food!!!

Was told the pupusas were NOT gluten free and only the tacos and burritos were. No mention of ingredients on the menu. By what the server told me, most of the menu was not GF.
I’ve eaten here many times and have never gotten sick. They say they prepare the flour tortillas separately from the corn tortillas and pupusas.

Delicious poupusa at good price. The waitress was well aware of gf ingredients every time.
Most items on the menu are naturally gluten free, including pupusas (delicious stuffed corn pancakes), plantains, etc. Delicious!
