Can confirm that this place is great. GM was there and helped the new guy on the register, but was quite knowledgeable and fluent in proper precautions and the contents of the food. His attitude was very friendly and reassuring, which helps a lot with an unfamiliar place.
They don’t fry anything and the chips were repacked (certified GF) and the wings were baked (with precautions) and he confirmed the queso sauce was corn starch for the roux. There were a couple sauces on wings that were not safe (BBQ and Honey Hot) and the taps for cider / mead were confirmed dedicated.
I ended up with Garlic Parmesan wings and chips and queso and my son’s nachos with grilled chicken, and a canned cider. I did try the blackberry mead which tasted fabulous but not really a good lunch beverage. No reactions!
They told me they could make any sandwich with GF bread - we are here for a while so I’ll definitely be back to try one of those!
