We wanted to try this place out while we were on vacation, based on the one other review, but we were very disappointed. Our server had no idea what did or did not contain gluten, nor about dedicated fryers. After running back and forth to ask questions, she eventually sent a manager out to talk to us, which was no better. When I asked him whether or not there was a dedicated fryer for fries, he started explaining the ingredients in the oil and that it gets really hot to kill any bacteria, so it was safe from gluten. I knew then that he had no idea what he was talking about. So I rephrased my question and asked since they cook everything in the same fryers, was there a chance of say chicken breading ending up in the fries. I could see a light bulb come on, but he still assured me that it was highly unlikely. My son who has celiac was extremely nervous about eating there and was even upset about their lack of knowledge with food allergies. He ended up just getting a burger on a gluten free bun with no sides. We ordered milkshakes and he got a plain chocolate milkshake. The problem with that is the cup holders in the robot that brings them out are really close together. So there was cookie crumbs from the cookies & cream milkshake all over his straw and spoon handle for his milkshake. By some miracle, he didn’t get sick, but he also isn’t extremely sensitive to cross contamination. Although the food was good, I doubt we’ll be back.
