My go to on the school pick up run. If I’m early it’s a table for lunch with my mother. Nom nom nom. BE AWARE new owners late 2024, 3 for lunch coeliac and dairy high reaction sufferers. New Menu No GF dedicated fryer yet chips advertised GF DF V Staff unclear how dishes could be coeliac safe even though advertised as an option on menu. Chef said all good replaced bun with GF toast on one dish not two as ordered ingredients unclear about GF DF Hesitant to eat and should have trusted instincts. 3 very unwell people within hours of eating very little food. I consider this venue now unsafe
Incredibly good breakfast experience. So many choices on the menu and the staff (new management have taken over the business) were knowledgeable on their products. They also use locally sourced gf bread from a nearby gf bake house. Great portions means this is one place you won’t walk away hungry being coeliac. Must try.
Great atmosphere however, i was given oats and told they were gluten free. I then had to pay for another breakfast without the oats because they were “gluten free oats” despite being a coeliac who reacts to oats. I would be very specific if eating here. The menu is great with lots of options, i am just not confident i was fully understood.
