Absolutely amazing - everything I tried was delicious. The cinnamon rolls are the best I’ve had and the biscuits were amazing. The staff was also so friendly and they’re able to accommodate other allergies as well. Highly recommend.

I love this place! I moved away, but I go every time I’m in town to visit family. Their oatmeal cream pies are so so good. Best gluten free baked goods I have ever had hands down.

OMG! The best GF Oatmeal Raisin cookie I ever tasted. They’re large, moist, soft, chewy, lots of raisins and with the perfect amount of cinnamon/spice. You can taste the quality of the ingredients used and the care that went into making them. I bought these at The Pantry at The Wharf in Orange Beach when I was on vacation. I wish I would have bought more but I was skeptical because I have tried so many GF cookies and threw them away. I checked out the website and was going to order more and also try the other cookie flavors, the biscuits and the friands but the $48.00 shipping is a little hard for me to justify, which makes me extremely sad because these cookies are delicious.
Just in case you’re wondering what a Friand is here is the description from the website: More chic and refined than a muffin, Friands are amazing almond little cakes. Packaged for two, share your friands with friends. Pairs beautifully with coffee, tea, or chilled champagne. Two friands in a package.
Anyway, if you see this brand of bakery treats, don’t hesitate to buy them, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. If you want to check out their website

This is a great bakery with a nice assortment of deserts, breads, teas, and coffee!They are dedicated gluten free, but if you didn't tell someone, they would never suspect. I have had the lemon mini-cake, berry mini-cake, and the biscuits and loved them all!

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD!! My boyfriend brought me some treats from here before and this past weekend we visited together. Everything is insanely delicious and the staff were so nice and helpful! We've tried: bread pudding, chocolate chip toffee cookies, cinnamon roll, red velvet cream pies, and we picked up a loaf of bread. As you know, gf bread from the store can be super small and very bland depending on the brand; their bread is huge and HEAVY due to being packed with goodness! I'll be going here much more regularly now. Thank you Guncles!

I stopped in on a road trip and I’m so glad I did! I spent over 300.00 and loaded up on items I could freeze when I returned home. Everything was fabulous but the oatmeal cream pies nearly made me cry! They were amazing! The owners were friendly and took great care preparing all my packages. Can’t wait to visit them again!!

Such a great experience. Owner made our celiac child feel so special and asked about all allergies to make sure there were no issues. Best of all, the food was amazing BY ALL STANDARDS. My husband said the oatmeal cream pies were better than Little Debbie’s!

I just finished a 10 day tour of the US South and made sure to stop by this gluten-free bakery while staying in Mobile, Alabama.
This is everything that I bought at Guncles gluten-free bakery in Mobile, Alabama this past Saturday!
I purchased:
1 cinnamon roll. $5.98
2 pack of oatmeal creme pies. $13.98
1 Raspberry lemon friand. $7.98
3 pack of cheddar herb biscuits $8.98
Mobile, Alabama sales tax is 10% which added another $3.69 to our bill for a total of $40.61
I've been to 33 US states and this is in my top 2 favorites for gluten-free bakeries. Yes, it is spendy so it is a treat, but these were INDISTINGUISHABLE from gluten products. It was shocking how the texture was so on point. I was diagnosed 3 years ago and I remember how "regular" food tastes and this tastes like the real thing.
If I could only get one item, I'd get the cheddar herb biscuits. They were incredible.
I had my non-celiac husband try everything and he said it tasted like the real thing.
A male staff member walked us through the options and suggested a mini cake. We had to pass because we were not going to be anywhere with a refrigerator for the rest of the day. We got these items to-go because we had to be in Mississippi before lunch time. There is a small area for sitting inside but if you have a party of more than 2, you will need to take over the outside picnic tables.

We love Guncles and I love that it is a dedicated gf facility which means a lot to the celiac community. Most of the treats are amazing! Some of the baked goods has pineapple in it and I do not like pineapple so those items were a turn off. The biscuits, cinnamon rolls, chocolate cake, velvet pies, are so freaking good. It’s a bit expensive but worth it especially with the biscuits and cinnamon rolls. Can’t wait to get a King Cake next year.

It was a very pleasant surprise discovering Guncles on a visit to Mobile last year. 100% dedicated gluten free facility. I haven’t had a cake, biscuit, bread or cookie I have tried and haven’t liked. And the staff and owners are incredibly friendly.

Everything about this place is AMAZING!! And dedicated GF 🙌🏼 Staff were all super friendly and helpful. They perfectly nailed the cinnamon rolls.....SO GOOD!!! We also tried the banana bread and raspberry friand. The loaded iced coffee was good but maybe too sweet with the cinnamon roll. Lol, sugar overload. Oh, and also we were able to find their cookies near our hometown in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.... chocolate chip toffee cookie....again... amazing. You will love this place!!

I'm an extremely sensitive celiac and nervous about eating out...except for Guncles. Not only is this bakery completely gluten free but everything is delicious! The little vanilla/blueberry cakes are incredible and the cinnamon rolls...omg. Best I've ever had, even before celiac. Enjoy Guncles and feel perfectly safe while doing so.

EXCELLENT!!! Dedicated facility. The cinnamon roll I had was the best I've ever tasted - with or without gluten. My husband's banana bread was wonderful also. The owner is a very kind and upbeat woman. she took her time explainingall she had. Bought some biscuits and cookies for later. Wish they were near me 😊

First time customer. The gentleman that was helping me was very nice and took the time to explain the items that were available. He even gave me a bit of ice to help keep a few items cold while I traveled back home. I could not be happier with the delicious items that was purchased. Several small bunt cakes, oatmeal cream pie cookies, bread and cinnamon rolls.

I’m so glad we listened to the reviews and recommendations to stop here on our trip. The treats are really good, so much it made you think, “Are you sure this is gluten free?” from the taste and texture. The staff was very friendly and helpful, including explaining how they can ship when we get back home.

Fully gluten free bakeries need to be given all the praise possible just for existing. We were traveling through Mobile for a vacation and we t out of our way when we saw this as an option, because it's not every day I can eat with such freedom.
On top of all that, it's amazing! I loaded up and loved every bite. Chocolate chip toffee cookies, buttermilk biscuits, and (the best of all) cheddar biscuits. I about cried when I ate the cheese biscuit, it was so good! Will stop every time we pass through Mobile from now on, and I might even look at an online order!
I only wish they had more dairy free options for my daughter. They have some dairy free on the menu, but none was baked or available that day.

Had the best experience here! We are vacationing at Dauphin Island, and I wanted to treat my sons, who have celiac. The service was great helping me choose a selection. My sons loved all the desserts I brought home, and we just started the day with biscuits hot out of the oven. Some of the best GF we’ve ever had!

After reading about this place I was very excited. I bought a loaf of bread, biscuits, cakes etc. The bread was very heavy and crust was very thick. I cut the crust off to make a sandwich. Honestly biscuits were not good at all I had bought six and threw five of them way. The cakes however were excellent

Amazing experience all around! The customer service was top notch. The gentleman that helped us was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. His smile was infectious!
