Tried the Lee’s Summit location today. Was skeptical but after reading all the comments and reviews on the Gluten Free Kansas City Facebook page, I decided to give it a try. I even asked the manger who confirmed the wet batter is made with rice flour, and fried in a fryer only for chicken. They have a separate fryer for French fried and other items. Cole slaw, collard greens and beans are all GF. It’s been all day and I’ve not had a reaction. No stomach ache, no bathrooms issues, no headache, nothing. I’ll definitely try again.
