When was the last time you had gluten free ramen? Hakata serves it up with all of the fixings and let me tell you, they get it pretty close. They use rice noodles that, admittedly, aren’t the same as wheat-based ramen. That being said, the noodles don’t make me feel like I’m missing out, and the broth of course steals the show. Most of their toppings are naturally gluten free, so you really feel like you’re getting the full experience.
Do note - this restaurant is not 100% gluten free, but is extremely careful when dealing with a dietary restriction. I told them I have a gluten intolerance and the waitress sweetly explained all of their cross-contact protocols, and the manager personally brought my food out (note: this was not a PR visit). There are some condiments on the table to mix in to your ramen which are mostly gluten free, but when I visited one was not. You’ll have this explained, as well.

Staff were so attentive and transparent. Gluten free ramen, what a delight! Staff were very clear on what sauces I could have (yes to the gluten free soy sauce, no to the chili oil). Sides were a particular highlight, the aubergine karaage was top notch. Separate fryers for the gluten free items. Didn’t get sick!
