Glad to have a GF option. Nothing to write home about taste wise - classic meat and fish with fruit as dessert. More about the experience than the food.
This was a wonderful Luau that the entire family enjoyed!
We chose this because it was the only one that had detailed information about gluten free options when booking.
Upon check-in, they gave me a GF card to hand to our server.
The complimentary Mai Thai is gluten free. Bar items are gluten free aside from the beer.
Three course meal:
1. Pupus (appetizers) are all gluten free
2. Main course - most of the items are the same as everyone else (Kalua pork, steak, vegetables, rice…) but the fish is not breaded and my chicken was marinated in a honey glaze rather than soy sauce.
3. Dessert - substitute fruit salad versus a cake
My meal was handled separately. The staff were very knowledgeable, discrete and friendly.
I did not get sick. I definitely recommend this experience to hesitant celiacs and gluten-intolerant visitors!
