Had the California St. on gluten free bun and it was fantastic!
Rode here on my scooter and the staff was really friendly. The sandwich I got tasted really good too!
Although they offer gluten free substitutions for any item it’s all made on the same workspace with the same equipment and put into the same toaster. Not safe for those sensitive to cross contamination

Excellent experience! I was in the neighbourhood looking for lunch and read great reviews on this app, and I was very pleased with my experience. The staff/owner was very knowledgeable, and let me know what on the menu could be gluten free. He recommended the above and beyond breakfast sandwich, which had plant-based sausage, egg, spinach, mushrooms and cheese, on a gluten free bun, and it was delicious. The owner (I think?) told me they searched for a “good gluten free bun” and finally found one, and it was really good. The gluten free sandwiches are made in a separate area and safety precautions are taken.
“I honestly can’t imagine it being any better than this” is what my gluten sensitive daughter just said about the breakfast sandwich. I agree. Filled with pillowy scrambled egg, good quality ham, lots of cheese and a little hot sauce on a gluten free bun. We loved every bite!
Got the beyond meat breakfast sandwich and didn’t get sick - tasted amazing too!
I had a sandwich on gf bread. It was delicious and I didn't have any reaction. They seemed aware of, and careful about, cross contamination.
Delicious! You can get a breakfast sandwich or deli sandwich on their GF bun/bagel and it’s amazing! Feels close to the deli style I loved in Jersey and haven’t been able to find since moving to SF. Easy, quick, great staff and connected to a plant store. Highly recommend! (I can’t guarantee the setup is designated GF if you have strong allergens)
