Had a great experience at this restaurant aside from celiac. The waitress was patient and accommodating as she walked me through the menu and told me mine would be cooked separately. I ordered halibut on a Cesar salad, which was great minus a rogue crouton in the salad. I didn’t feel great afterwards. Wanted to love it but I’m not sure that celiac and allergies are their thing.

Our server was very knowledgeable. Very careful with the one celiac at our table out of 4. Had suggestions for what was safe. Even suggested an appetizer that was on the menu (the salmon spread) which she gave us corn chips instead if what it was usually served with. I would have totally avoided any of the appetizers as they all appeared unsafe. There were gluten free buns on the menu. I will eat here again for sure! Delicious food and felt very safe eating here.

Sat at the bar for lunch. Indoor seating with excellent view of the mountains water and Marine Park wharf area.

The menu is not marked but staff is knowledgeable and they do have GF buns. Fries are not due to cross contamination.

Root beer was good. Husband liked the Kolsch.

We stopped in here for a snack and Alaskan Brewing Company drinks (when in Rome, ya know) on the way back to our cruise ship before departure. They have GF bread/buns. I was debating splitting a burger with my hubby and asked the server his opinion. He recommended their fish and chips (I wish) and I advised that I could not have any gluten and he quickly informed me that I couldn't have a burger there either because there are bread crumbs in the burger mix. I was dumbfounded as I had never heard of this. A good example to me that I should never assume anything and always mention to my server that I need them to double check that everything is GF for me. Ute place with a great history and a must for any aviation enthusiast to visit. I gave 4 stars because 4.5 wasn't an option...those darn bread crumbs...

The server took our gluten free needs super seriously and checked ingredients in sauces. They had a few grilled fish specials with rice and veggies, as well as GF buns! Fries coated in flour and shared fryer.

Hangar is my go to in Juneau for good food and a safe place for celiac. I typically ask for Abby because she's great with dealing with allergies and knows the menu well but I've had other servers who are good as well.

No gluten free menu but our waiter was able to list the ingredients of a couple dishes I wished to try. I ended up going with the lazy sushi. I also enjoyed a king crab leg with my family. It came with a house-made cocktail sauce but I didn’t get around to asking about its ingredients. I prefer dipping crustaceans in hot butter. They have quite a few cider options. Did not become ill.

This place should be removed from Find Me Gluten Free. Not celiac friendly. Felt sick after ordering a piece of fish seasoned with salt and pepper and a side of rice. Wait staff was unhelpful. Fish tacos are on the menu, but the restaurant does not carry corn tortillas.

Amazing views of the Juneau waterfront go nicely with the variety of drinks and seafood. While there is not a GF menu, the staff are happy to make adjustments and suggest safe options. Atmosphere is casual to formal, so wear what you like and have fun.
