the staff was wonderful, and the location and interior are very on trend for the North Hills area.also, the good was just okay. the taste wasn't anything that special, and the poké bowl needed some different texture. everything was very soft and squishy, so I added some cashews at home, which was a good addition. I recently ate here. the food offerings seem to be pretty straight forward, and things are labeled vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free. however, I ordered the poké bowl, the salmon, which is the gluten free one according to the staff and person that replied to my email. welp, I definitely got sick from whatever was in my salmon poké bowl. this is a new place, and the person that replied to my email said they were updating their nutritional facts menu, main menu, and that he would talk to the chef to try to minimize cross contamination. the menu is a bit confusing. the employees at the restaurant started that the ahi tuna is NOT gluten free because of the soy sauce (ponzu sauce), which is helpful, but online the ahi tuna is listed as the gluten free one. the salmon poké is the one that should be listed GF, but this is what I got sick from.if you are not very sensitive to gluten, then this place is probably fine. however, if you are celiac or very gluten sensitive, then be mindful that there is a very real opportunity for confusion and cross contamination.
