I got the GF cheese pizza. I was worried at first because my pizza did not come out in tin foil like some of the other comments suggested. it was plated on a small white plate with a pizza knife. The waiter informed me that they now have started to replate the GF pizzas in the back instead of bringing them out in tin foil for presentation purposes.
Pizza was really good and no symptoms of gluten 24+ hours later. Will be returning!
Vibey and able to accommodate my needs. I came here with a large work party and expected not to be able to eat. The manager was well aware of celiac needs and went over the separate prep space and the precautions they taken in the kitchen. All my pizzas came out with the allergen flag. Crust is also vegan.
pizza was amazing and was gluten free. But pretty sure it has some serious cross contamination bc i felt like i got glutened— coming from someone who hasn’t felt glutened in years
This place knows how to handle GF orders for not being a full gluten free establishment. Pizzas are wrapped in foil and the crust, like others have said is perfect! It is not soggy, not burnt. I am very sensitive to cross contamination so I was waiting for some after effects. But nope, all good! I did make sure to tell them ahead of time. But from what it seems, they are already careful to begin with.
They do not have a dedicated oven, but they do wrap the gluten free pizzas in foil, and seemed knowledgeable about cross-contact. They had lots of variety of pizza flavors and all could be made gluten free, though only in the small size. I thought the food tasted good and I did not get sick.
Great gluten free pizza! They cook their pizzas in a separate area and if you are dining in they also come out on a separate plate different from the other pizzas. They have a great selection of speciality pizzas with interesting toppings and sauces. The vibes of the place are very cute too, great spot to meet with friends.
Highly recommend if you’re 21+ and hungry. Indoor bar height seating would be hard with kids, and they ID at the door for happy hour and later. Outdoor seating was present but too cold. Delicious soft-crumb-on-crisp-bottomed crust with delicious toppings, different from the usual cracker crust gf pizza. If a little bready for you, request extra sauce to dip. No issues with symptoms after. $3 price increase for gf, only available in 10”, which was more than enough for one. Very nice staff and would definitely go again. Minus one heart due to shared kitchen, use caution and communicate with all staff.
I was really happy with the friendly service. My waiter checked ingredients for me and made sure that my order was completely safe. The kitchen made sure to prepare my meal in a safe area that had been cleaned. I got a gluten free pizza with vegan cheese because I’m also dairy free.
Best gluten free pizza crust in Chicago!! Waiters are very knowledgeable and take allergies seriously.
