Horrible experience. While in the area I read some of the amazing reviews about this place so I decided to give it a chance. As someone with celiac I thought it would be safe for me to eat here, but I was sadly mistaken. I ordered the gluten free San Antonio fajita and had one of the worst reactions to gluten that I’ve ever had. Usually I’m not the type to leave a review, but I definitely advise caution to any other celiacs out there.

I was in the area and saw the reviews on here, I decided I felt safe enough to eat here with the reviews. WOOOOWWW the food was amazing and as someone with celiac I didn’t get sick at all. Definitely recommend!

They have a separate prep area an friolator for Gf foods. The Gf menu had lots of options, and the staff was very helpful. The Gf food I ordered was delicious, with no reaction. The service was a little slow, although that may be covid-19 related. I highly recommend!

Ordered Take Out Happy Jacks Grilled Chicken Salad. When I got back realized they gave me a regular salad with chicken on it and not the meal salad I thought I ordered.

I was hungry and it tasted fine - nothing special (although I’m always excited to just be able to EAT safely)

I’m a sensitive celiac and it’s been an hour and so far no issues.

The fried fish was very good, the fries and onion rings were good, cole slaw was just okay. Good service, good food but music was too loud.

This is one of our favorite places to go for dinner, or even just drinks and some apps. They have a dedicated fryer, and the staff is very knowledgeable. They take food allergies very seriously here. We will keep coming back here again and again!

Staff was very cool with my wife being GF. Dedicated GF fryer. Be sure to check and see if the chips and salsa are GF. Other than our goof, it’s been great!

This place is awesome for people who have Celiac disease/gluten free diet. They have a full front and back menu with options that differ from nachos, potato skins, sandwiches (with gf buns and fries!). The whole staff is so careful and understanding and they have a whole separate fryer dedicated for it! Definitely the best place around for delicious gf food!

Wonderful experience. Manager intentionally created a great eating experience for those with Celiac Disease. Dedicated fryer. They use rice flour to bread fish and onion rings. Entire GF menu with lots of choices. They bring you GF chips and salsa for free. Super knowledgeable and careful. So far my best GF experience in the past year since diagnosis of my son. He loved the burger so much, said the bun was better than any he had ever had. I had their GF veggie fajitas and honestly they were better than any I've ever had. This place is wonderful. The atmosphere feels like a Caribbean place, central bar, can eat outside. Probably needs a little bit of a makeover with decor, but the food and super friendly and knowledgeable staff make it totally worth the trip. Go!!

Great restaurant! Waitress came over with gf chips because she overheard that we were gluten free. I felt safer that she knew what to do before we started making requests. Potato skins are a must! They were amazing. Separate fryer for fried foods.

Great GF menu, lots of choices! I had the fish and chips and they were yummy! They have a dedicated fryer, which is great. When we got there the waitress brought over complementary chips & salsa. When I asked if they were gluten free she said no and went and got me gf ones. At this place they really seem to understand gf and do it well. I'll definitely be back!

My husband and I took my mother in law out for lunch today for her birthday. I have celiac, though they have no food restrictions. I was very impressed with the gluten free menu as it was quite a big selection. I ordered the gf fish and chips after confirming they do have a dedicated fryer. It was so good! They also can get you chips made in the dedicated fryer upon request. I will definitely be returning in the future!

I've had several meals and margaritas here and so far no contamination. Good stop! The gluten free wings are a bore but the tacos and gf entres are great.
