Review of Happy Lamb Hot Pot

After visiting a local Hot Pot spot only to find out that their broth base contained soy sauce, I phoned Happy Lamb and was told that they had soy-free broth options. I’ve eaten here a few years ago before I knew I had celiac, and I was able to eat almost everything that I had before! Their menu items are clearly marked with what options are GF, and both their base and spicy broths are GF. Everything was absolutely delicious, and because of the way hot pot works, I didn’t feel the need to inform my server of my dietary restrictions. My friend had no desire to order any of the items that contained gluten, so there were no issues with sharing the broth from the large pot. They do bring out bowls and ladles so everyone can have their own personal broth, so I would never foresee that being an issue regardless. Vegetables and meat were fresh and broth was flavorful and delicious. Worth the 3 hour drive for me!
