I was in town for the day and I was craving asian food so I called in and ordered. The woman on the phone was very friendly and when I asked about gluten free options she told me the pad thai and the fried rice were gluten free. on the website they were specifically labeled gluten free as well. I ordered the chicken pad thai and it was delicious! i loved the lime and penuts. I had no issues after eating it. I would go back again.
They have a scant few GF items. I went because the online menu promised GF garlic and brown sauce. When I tried to order it they said only the white sauce was gluten free. I get shrimp in the white sauce. It was awesome. Not the usual boring tasteless white sauce, this was a little sweet and a little spicy (mildly so). I thought maybe they made a mistake with the sauce, it was so good. I absolutely stuffed myself, which usually makes me sick these days gf or no, and was absolutely fine. I also ordered the GF vegetable fried rice, which was also very good. The rest of my normal, gluten eating family loved it and are anxious to go back. It was a little pricey and a little far for us but they are both sacrifices than need to be made with celiac. We will return.
if you order sushi, they'll bring you tamari sauce. But most Chinese-style menu items formerly labeled GF now have the GF crossed out. And those still labeled GF? The server told me they contain gluten. The GF fried rice? They don't use any soy-based sauce. Not unpleasant, but not something I'd ever order again.
Several gluten free options on the menu. staff was knowledgeable about gluten containing items. I am a sensitive Celiac person who has gotten sick from CC several times and I have eaten here three times with no issues. Pad Thai is awesome and they have gluten free pineapple fried rice that's really good.
