I have celiacs and did not get sick afterwards. I ordered French friends and coleslaw. They say everything is prepared in seperate fryers and a different area. I would still be cautious but food was very good!

The pits! The salad was drowned in vinegar awful. The pickles were bricks and the meat was dried out as well as the iced tea watered down. Nice job Jaffe. You should take owner lessons on how to make food. The place was over rated and a lousy experience! Better food at McDonalds.
Yes
Owner came to speak to me and said he would prepare,y food himself, which was really nice, but I still got sick afterward.

I wish I could put zero! We walked out everything is baked and cooked in the same ovens, they do not serve safely or even know? The girl at the front was nasty and said I have to talk to the owner. He said it is not safe. Why have a huge GF sign!? Then she told me the cheesecake isn't gluten free it's sugar free. Confusion causes contamination!
They have a GF menu with numerous options and the food is good (including a pickle buffet bar), but the pricing is a bit annoying- the smallest sandwich you can order is still huge and fit for 1-3 people costing $25. If you're sharing that's fine but many GF diners aren't sharing, so it's one expensive corned beef sandwich!
I got good and sick🚽. I had an omelette with Swiss, onions and mushrooms. A sliver of gluten free/sugar free cheese cake. A half a sour pickle and a forkful of health salad. When I asked about the gluten free grilled cheese, I was told it was cheese on lettuce, no bread.
No
Amazing corned beef hash! Got the side order which was huge! Lots of options, only wish is gf bread! Great ny deli experience! Will definitely return!
Harold's has a large gluten free menu. They do not have gluten free bread, but they offer lettuce wraps instead. The servings are HUGE ( easily shareable). Gluten free sweet potato fries were yummy. We had a piece of GF ( and sugar free too) cheesecake for dessert. The piece was enormous! It was wonderful. It clearly wasn't mass produced in a factory. They also have GF horns ( type of pastry cookie) and macaroons. I had a question about something and the staff called Harold (the owner) right out to talk to me. I would have given it 5 stars if they had GF bread.
