I did everything I could do let them know I needed a gluten free meal. They marked the menu for me. I asked them to advise the kitchen about the GF requirement. And yet I got a salad that had croutons buried in it. Be very careful here. I'm not sure where it broke down - server or kitchen or runner - but definitely a problem if you have celiac disease.
Absolutely delicious dinner!! Our server was wonderful and explained all of the allergy protocols before we ordered. He was very knowledgeable and marked up my menu to let me know what was/wasn't safe. I could eat almost anything except the pizza and pasta. Everything is meant to be shareable so they recommend 2-3 dishes per person. My sister and I split the burger (GF toast), the brussels sprouts, and the cauliflower gratin. Everything was so tasty and it was more than enough food for us! I would definitely be back!
Great options! No pizza or pasta, but the fryer is dedicated- fries and wings are a go! We had: crudo, Japanese sweet potato, whipped ricotta toast (gf bread is toasted in a celiac safe pan), the roasted duck and the salmon- it was all really good and I felt FINE (no reaction- great service too).
Almost everything on the menu was gluten free or able to be modified with the exception of the pizza and most of the pastas. The Tuna Tartare was amazing, and I really like the Halibut! The server seemed pretty knowledgeable and even went back to double check everything he initially told me about their gluten free procedures. He had to amend a few things after talking with the chef, but overall, I felt like he was trying to accommodate me. Pretty good experience! No gluten free desserts, though, if you’re looking for that. 😔
Atmosphere is great but Celiacs should go for a drink at the bar rather than dinner. The menu indicates what items are GF but there are gaps in their system. Cauliflower came out with breadcrumbs and I had to send it back. Beware. I am feel contamination sickness after eating there
The staff was very knowledgeable about the gluten free options and alterations. The menu is marked with gluten free options and they were flexible to accommodate shareable plates for the chef’s choice meal option. They even had GF dessert! Would highly recommend for GF sea food lovers.
Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free with the exception of the pizza and pastas. Most items are naturally gluten free and they have gluten free bread. They asked right away if there were any food allergies. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is very cool, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this place.
