Service was great, chose this place for dinner based off of reviews however I was severely ill after eating here with my typical “glutened” symptoms after multiple times of telling the waitress of my celiac disease

Harvest on Main has delicious food. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary dinner. We shared the smoked salmon and trout spread with some Udi’s bread instead of the crackers and we shared a harvest salad without feta. They also offer corn chips if you want that instead. For my main I got the 14oz Duroc Pork Chop and my boyfriend got the Bistro Steak. For dessert we enjoyed the gluten free brownie. We loved it here and want to come back on our next trip!

Absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend. Waiter was very knowledgeable about what contained gluten or dairy. Menu was marked GF, too.

Don’t go! Went during lunch time and ended up leaving! They could only offer me salads and two sandwiches with a gluten free bun! Very poor selection and they did not seem educated at all regarding celiac/gluten free and not very nice either. We didn’t order and went elsewhere and will not return!

Wonderful, painless, helpful experience for our table with 3 Celiacs and 2 “norms,” and 4 with frayed nerves. Being vigilant and strict about ensuring food and its preparation are GF for my husband, my mother, and me, I had already vetted the Harvest on Main prior to taking my husband’s mother and my parents there. Vetting for me includes checking Find Me GF, cross-checking against reviews on Yelp! and Google Maps (Street View), reviewing the restaurant’s website and menu and then calling in advance and again the day before or the day of the reservation to confirm that the restaurant has GF meal options, knowledgeable waitstaff, and a chef willing to make adjustments as necessary. It was sad to read the other review here where the person had a bad experience. We were able to eat the Chili, the trout, and sides. The key to enjoying food and eating out as a Celiac is, I’ve found, vigilance, preparedness, and a chef & waitstaff willing to make accommodations. That is the recipe every Celiac needs.

I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and am on the AIP diet. Off of big 4: gluten, dairy, eggs and soy. The waitress was very knowledgeable and willing to check on specific items and their ingredients. Very fresh side salad with olives, spring mix, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Ordered the salmon which came out very well. No seasoning but not dry. I also had sautéed green beans with bacon, garlic and olive oil. Their dinner menu has much more choices but the family wanted to eat here, and I was content

I thought it was going to be safe and I told the waitress I was celiac, but it seemed like she did not care! It was a small kitchen and I got sick a couple hours later! Never eating here again!

I ate dinner there years ago and I remember it being a good experience. I recently ate lunch and it was an average experience. There’s a limited lunch menu and the gf thing is bread for sandwiches. I had the chicken sandwich and harvest side salad. It was fine and I did not get sick but it was boring.

We ate here 4 years ago and had a good experience. So, when visiting the area, we made reservations to go again. We were shocked at the lack of safety precautions for the pandemic. They only had 3-4 tables outside on the front porch for outdoor seating. All were already reserved. The tables indoors were all very close and many of the staff were not wearing masks. The staff were unfriendly (actually rude) when we asked if there was an option to sit outside. Because we didn't feel safe inside, we decided to do a take-out order, only to be told they wouldn't allow that either. We left and didn't eat here. We won't be back. Mostly because of the very unfriendly, uncaring staff. I had no confidence they would take precautions with my dietary restrictions.

They use Udi’s bread as a substitute for the four sandwiches on the menu. That’s all.
Food is just okay. Service was very slow. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwiches with pimento cheese and bacon/onion jam. Sounds delicious but it was just okay. Cole slaw was plain. And while Udi’s is a great option for my GF four year old, sliced sandwich bread isn’t a great substitute for a hot sandwich. Server was vague about other GF options but I could have ordered a salad without croutons or bread. But I miss being able to eat sandwiches and was hopeful.

Had the salmon BLT on gluten free bread. My waitress was not knowledgeable as to what was GF on menu, so the owner came over and helped me choose. Lunch was great , no problems from cross contamination. Can't wait to visit again.
Yes
Gluten free bread for their sandwiches. I had a chicken breast, plain on gluten free bread with chips. It tasted really good and I didn’t get sick.
We had lunch here two days in a row. Excellent service, delicious food and a great variety of gf options. Best soups ever!
Yes
Food was delicious, but not many options for gluten free and the wait to eat here is ridiculously long. My vegetables were burned too. I didn’t get sick, so that’s a huge plus.

Wouldn't even let us in the door. The host looked us up and down and told us to go somewhere else. We were bundled from the cold because we are from southern Georgia and not used to the cold and he looked at us like we were homeless and looking for a free meal. We could clearly see several tables inside unused so they we're not full.
The menu did not have any GF items except they said the have GF bread and could make any sandwich GF. I asked the waiter about HF and he said that they could make most of the items on the menu GF. Had the special of the day GF. It was great.
Very good and pricey.
Staff was amazingly patient with me and my repeated questions on menu items. I would recommend to anyone with gluten sensitivities or celiacs

Has lunch there yesterday and it was amazing! My sister (also celiac) had a burger on Udi's bread and I had a salmon BLT. They were both yummy, but the highlight of the meal was the crab and Brie appetizer. They also have a vegetarian chili that's really good. They can do almost anything on the menu gf and are very careful. Definitely recommended.

This sandwich counter is next door to, and owned by, Harvest on Main. They have fantastic sandwiches, and they can all be made gluten-free. They are very knowledgeable about gluten, and have a lot of gluten-free items in the store. My family tried 3 different sandwiches - they were all great. The wait was a little long, but not terrible considering they were packed with tourists on a beautiful fall Saturday. My only complaint was the dressing from the slaw running under the sandwich and making it soggy - they should serve the sides in a cup. I highly recommend this spot to anyone - gluten-free or not.

Staff is very knowledgable about Celiac... They do not have a dedicated GF menu but I have never had a problem.. If the wait staff is not sure... They ask the chef. They offer Udis GF bread. They have a Brie and blue crab dip served with corn chips that is awesome. We eat here EVERY time we are in town, it is one place I know I can go to eat and relax and not have to worry about getting glutened.
