Harvest Room

All I ordered was a cheeseburger with no bun and no sides and I managed to get glutened. It's 3 weeks later and I'm still fully recovering. I only trust Harvest Room for breakfast. The morning chefs are dedicated. Glutened twice at dinner though.

I am celiac and lactose intolerant, have eaten here many times and food is always good. Good lot of gluten free to choose from, I wish they would do a spinach salad as I can’t eat any lettuce.I would also love if they did some dairy free as well, especially soups, sauces and maybe one dessert gf and df or have more options to choose from. Otherwise love this Restaurant!

I am writing this review late as I am just started feeling better about a week ago. I visited for dinner on September 29th. I asked for a gluten free menu and questioned server about the gluten free items or recommendations. I was told that I could get the Wild Mushroom Papperdele with gluten free noodles and it would be safe. Let’s just say that I wound up sick, sick, sick. I am not sure what was in it or such as I took the word of the server. I am not confident going to this location as I frequent the Munster location and have had no problems. Someone needs to train, retrain the employees. Very dissapointing, also shame for ignoring my vibe of the server as she seemed like she could give a crap on what was questioned. Seemed like she just wanted to be done with her day.

Was able to get a nice gluten free, vegetarian dish that tasted great. Didn't get sick and the staff seemed to take my condition seriously. Would go again. Decent amount of GF dishes.

They have gluten free mac n cheese on the kids menu! Love it! Food is fresh and healthy. I did order tacos on corn tortillas and the server immediately said it's not considered gf because tortillas made in the same factory as flour tortillas. This was a great tidbit because my son has Celiacs, but I don't and didn't order off the gluten free menu. I was just impressed he shared the info out of concern.

We went here because of the great reviews, but I am sad to say that I did get sick after eating here. They talked a great game when I told them I had celiac disease and asked about cross contamination and such, but it did not turn out well. Either prepare GF safely or tell people you don’t have the concern or training to pull it off.

Several great gf items on the menu, including appetizers , entrees and dessert. I've eaten there frequently and never had a problem

I had the best gf pancakes ever! So light and fluffy. Scrambled egg and bacon were pretty awesome also. Our server Tim was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were checked in several times. This may be my new fave restaurant!!

Great GF options. Ordered the ribs and smoked Gouda Mac. Offered GF beer and ciders too! Highly recommend this place!

Hidden Gem! Wasn't expecting such amazing food in this location. Very high quality, excellent service! Great selection of gf food. Will definitely be going back!

Very delicious GF food! I always feel safe eating here and there's a good selection to choose from. I don't think it's as expensive as others are making it seem.

My daughter's favorite gluten free pancakes!

They have a nice variety of GF options, and the extra added bonus is that they buy as much produce and other food as possible by local farmers. I have celiac and feel very safe eating there. They understand food allergies very well and are happy to make adjustments/accommodations in food preparation as needed. This is my new go to restaurant!

Great breakfast menu-gf pancakes are yummy! Also they have a variety of. teas and smoothies.

We tried the Harvest Room at the urging of friends. We were not impressed. The food was very pricey and portions rather small; however the atmosphere was very nice. I found the waitress to be a bit pushy with her suggestions and when we would say no she was a bit put-off. The coffee was extremely strong--so if you like that kind of coffee this is the place for you.

Unfortunately, we will not be going back. We have found other places in the area that are GF friendly and price friendly.
