I haven't had solid sushi in awhile, so we were very excited to come here after reading good reviews. Our waiter wasn't knowledgeable and had to check with the kitchen, I didn't hold that against him. He brought me out a dish that, thanks to my husband double-checking, would have made me sick. When another waiter (who was knowledgeable) returned it to the chef, my husband noticed him rolling his eyes. I stuck to nigiri orders after that, was a bit of a bummer with the lack of empathy. At the same time though, our allergy is pain so it's hard to hold it against them. Wanted to love this place but won't be back.😭

They are very kind and accommodating. They have Tamari (rice soy sauce) which I use on my chicken and rice, sushi and edamame in lieu of soy sauce. Let them know you are gluten free and they will accommodate. Enjoy!

There was one server, in particular, who really understood the Celiac issue. If she didn't know the exact ingredients, she asked the sushi chefs. As a result, she recommended many sushi rolls that my wife and I had, and I felt great afterwards. Even more, everything tasted wonderful!

Excellent sushi. They have gluten free sot soy sauce. I got a salmon roll and spicy yellowtail roll and did not get sick. Just told them to make sure not to contaminate with other sauces.

Very accommodating! You have to tell them what to avoid (I usually just say "no sauce" but they will go above and beyond to check ingredients and brands so that I could say yes or no. The waitress made sure that my order was on a separate plate than the rest of my family to avoid cross contamination. Everyone was friendly about it which was a huge plus.
Yes
Have gluten free soy sauce. Got sushi, it was good, on the pricey side.
I agree with the review, the sushi was very good. You do need to be aware of what you order. If you tell them you are allergic to gluten, they will not alert you if you order something with gluten. We ordered a seaweed salad, the waitress did not tell us it had soy sauce. They also had no idea if their imitation crab contained gluten.
This is hands down the best sushi restaurant my husband and I have ever been. They have a decent happy hour with 2.95 hand rolls. You have to ask for the gluten free soy aside, but they have it. If the waiter looks at u funny, just get one of the managers...they know what is up. Since many of them don't know about celiac I stick to the sushi without sauces on them. I have been there 5 times and without a problem. Their yellowtail cheek is to die for!!
