I’ve tried this place 3 times and have always gotten awfully sick. I kept thinking it was in my head but it’s definitely not. Stay away!

Ordered and verified the braised chicken thigh with rice (instead of roti) was gluten free, but still got a reaction. They said there wouldnt be cross contamination, but i believe there was. It was the only thing i ate before the reaction

I went in on a Thursday and they went above and beyond to make sure my food was safe. They’re very conscientous about it. I had chicken and rice. I wish they had more vegetables but I’m happy with how they pride themselves on being careful about gf needs. Btw, the cashier told me that every Monday morning they clean everything in the kitchen for two people who come in Mondays who have celiac.

Some of the *best* pad thai my partner and I have ever had. Affordable, too, making it so good for takeout. Staff assured us that everything is gluten-free but the roti. They said the fryer is dedicated, though we didn’t order food from it. Fun music and good place for date night!

It’s news to me if the fryer isn’t dedicated. I’ve eaten here for years with no problem and am unaware of anything on the menu that would contaminate the fryer, but I guess ask when you order. Delicious! Get the pickles and the side of curry sauce!

Excellent!! 🤤 I got the curry set (sub rice for roti) and it was perfect: fried chicken, sticky rice, pickled veg, and a delicious curry sauce. It’s the perfect meal.

So good! I get the hat yai combo with sticky rice instead of roti. I usually react to shared fryers but have never had an issue here. The staff is knowledgeable about celiac. Tried the pad thai once too and it was tasty.

Not everything is gluten free, and the fryer isn't dedicated but I had the curry brisket with rice and it was delicious, no issues. I've been back multiple times with happy results.

Due to the most recent reviews here, I stayed away from the fried chicken but did fine with the sticky rice and pad thai I tried. Wish the physical menus were marked better and I wasn’t a huge fan of the flavors I had. Maybe the other location is a bit better; I still have high hopes for this place!

Decided to try the fried chicken #1. One piece down of three and well will not be back. Got super sick and thankful they had a restroom close

I don’t know how this has such high ratings for Portland. The food was mediocre and the fried chicken lacked anything special. I immediately got sick at the restaurant. I recommend staying away if you are celiac.

Strongly flavored chicken with sticky rice and crispy onions are what I've had here twice. It's promising, but each time both the chicken and rice have been somewhat tough, as if it was overcooked, or had been sitting a while. Both meals have been takeout.
I have not had a gluten reaction however.

Gluten free fried chicken. It’s so effing good. The only thing not gluten free is the roti bread that they prepare separately. There’s also one dish on the menu that’s made with soy sauce, but everything else is safe. I always call and say I’m celiac and they take it seriously. I love the Pad Thai at the Belmont location. They do a fried chicken + waffles collaboration with Berlu on the weekends. It’s really the best fried chicken!

Amazingly good fried chicken. I am celiac and i've eaten there several times as well as at the Belmont location without any issues.
