Hattie’s is known for their fried chicken so don’t plan to go here without knowing that. A gf intolerance/celiacs is very incompatible with this menu. However they do have some items on their brunch menu that can be tweaked (eggs any style, no toast or even their hash). Double caution if you have a dairy allergy like me, you won’t be eating anything but fruit (and some mimosas to make up for it) because there’s butter in almost every dish. I was expecting to be disappointed on the gf front going into it so I really can’t hold it against Hattie’s. Very cute spot and my non gf friends loved their food - highly recommend a Hattie’s Bloody Mary or Hattie’s Mimosa to any non gf people. And if you really want gf fried chicken, Hattie’s also has Hattie’s Chicken Shack. Not the same atmosphere as downtown Saratoga brunch (it’s in a strip mall), but good nonetheless.
