I have eaten here several times since they opened and have no had any issues. Most authentic cuisine shouldn't have a ton of gluten, so there is a good variety here to chose from. Some of the staff aren't sure about "celiac", but they always find someone to explain the menu items, and talk to the kitchen. Food is really tasty and comes in decent size portions.

I have ate here 3 times now and every time has been awesome. I have tried the ropa vieja, the acp, and the vaca frita. Just make sure to sub out fried plantains with more rice or more beans since plantains are made in shared fryer. Look up the menu online to see what dishes are available because the menu in the restaurant isn't clearly marked.

I’ve had the dates and shrimp appetizers and the Vaca Frita and Ropa Viaja and have never gotten sick!

When I tell a server "no wheat" and she responds "OK, is this celiac?" I know I'm at a safe restaurant and that is the case here. I ordered the Ropa Vieja and was perfectly fine afterward. Many of their dishes come with fried plantains which apparently are made in a shared fryer so don't get those. But most menu items can be made GF so just let your server know.
