Although most everything is considered gluten free, they are not completely safe due to cross contamination. I found their allergen list and everything except the luau pig, sauces, and pineapple are marked safe from cross contamination. Even the rice is cross-contaminated. I haven’t had a reaction (as far as I know), but it sucks there could still be the slight risk of internal effects.
Good easy stop and quick detour. Nice to have a place with GF options while traveling.

Amazing Hawaiian food!! Almost the entire menu is gluten free. We eat here all of the time and I’ve never gotten sick. One of our favorite spots.
Excellent food! Almost everything is gluten free and dairy free and there are items that are soy free as well. We've eaten at this location many times and never any issues.
Gluten free Hawaiian fast food for the win! It was delicious. Everything except the macaroni salad and the croutons on top of the green salad are gluten free! Don’t forget to enjoy the delicious gluten and dairy free dole whip pineapple soft serve!
DELICIOUS!!! I had the Honolulu Chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had the classic size and it was more than I could eat for a fantastic price. They know how to handle gluten free food (one of the employees has a dad with celiac, and I got the sense they'd know how to handle it either way), and the employees were friendly. All but two items on the menu are naturally gluten free, too! Another safe, delicious place to go for those with gluten allergies/celiac!!
Love this restaurant! The food is so good and safe! You get a lot of food for a good price too! They use soy sauce but it’s the gluten free kind
Love this place. Majority of the menu is gluten free (yes they use soy sauce, BUT it is a gluten free soy sauce.)
Per the website, all but a few items are gluten free, so we did curbside to go, and it was delicious. I assumed everything would have gluten so we are excited to have another place we can grab to go.
IT IS NOT GLUTEN FREE!! ABSOLUTELY ALL THE MEAT IS COOKED WITH SOY SAUCE THE EMPLOYEES HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT NOTHING IS GLUTEN FREE EVEN WHEN THEY CLAIM IT TO BE THEY EVEN CONFIRM SOY SAYCE IS THE BASE OF THEIR SAUCES.
Everything here is gluten free except Macaroni Salad and salad topper Chinese crispy noodles that are packaged separately. Went 3 times- when ordering tell them celiac gluten allergy and change gloves- even at drive thru. It prints on your receipt too from their notes on iPad. Food is absolutely delicious and dole whip dairy free soft serve too!

Used to be Gluten free & safe.
When they changed to the orange chicken it contains gluten. Not only that but the manager told me the store cannot help but cross contaminate everything from the orange chicken.
I would no longer eat there until the gluten orange chicken problem is solved.

Generally a good experience. Low risk, but still a risk for those with celiac.
There are only 2 things on their menu that I could have. I must be GF and soy free as well. I had the smoked pork (low carb) and the seasoned vegetables (low carb) and both were very good. I had some of their Hawaiian Pineapple BBQ sauce as well. They do have several GF options, like their rice. Their allergy information is very good. This isn’t inexpensive…for a small side of pork & veg it was $12.26 and I had no drink.
