Very celiac friendly. First question they ask is are you gluten free. Delicious authentic Italian food. Pricey but worth it

Daughter said the GF pancakes were some of the best she's had! Almost crepe like, but SO good! Not too thick or too thin, not dry. Yum!

Awesome place. Servers ask if there is Celiac or gluten intolerance before even taking the order. Almost everything is GF (onion rings, chicken tenders and clam strips are not GF). Dedicated fryer for GF. Homemade pastas and sauces; they use chick pea flour as breading for fried foods; they use Udi’s bread. Total understanding of cross-contamination. Owner is the cook. His wife and son have Celiac. Highly recommend the fried Mozzarella cheese and the fried fish and chips.

The fried mozzarella was amazing. We ordered fettuccine with meat sauce, gf cheese ravioli with alfredo, and a stuffed pepper. The sauces were very watery (imho). The owner was great, very attentive. The waitress didn't seem to care that we were there. We would go again to try something different, next time we are in town.

Excellent food, almost everything on the menu is gluten free. We had fried cheese and fish and chips!! First time in years. They even make their own GF pasta. The owner’s wife and son both have celiac disease, so you can dine there with no worries...he gets it. Can’t wait to go back and work our way through the menu.

Just amazing. Delicious food, wonderful hospitality. Almost everything can be made gluten free, and the chef's family has celiac disease so there's no need to explain anything. First time eating fried cheese and calamari since diagnosis. Made from scratch GF pasta, even ravioli! Meatballs, cheesecake... I can't move I'm so full. Can't wait to return!

The owner is very familiar with celiac. Both his wife and daughter have celiac. I had gluten-free fried cheese and their ravioli, both were very good.

I wish every place I traveled had a place like this. I felt very confident that the food I had was truly gluten-free.

Awesome gluten free Italian food. Four in our group with celiac disease. Ate twice in one week. Very knowledgeable about gluten free and cross contamination (owner/cook’s wife and son have celiac). Dedicated fryer. Gluten free menu items we tried: eggplant parmigiana, crab ravioli, cheese ravioli, mozzarella sticks, French toast, Italian sandwich, French fries, salads, blackened chicken fettuccine. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back next year on vacation. FYI... if you have a large group be sure and call ahead because this is a small restaurant.

This place was AMAZING!! The owner is completely knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination, his wife and son are Celiac. They have a dedicated fryer. They have so many options as well. We were so excited as three of the four in our family are celiac. Obviously we wanted to try everything. We would definitely have gone more than once but ended up sick on our trip and only got to go the last day. So we had fried mozzarella, Rueben sandwich, fries, chicken wings, fried fish and homemade cheesecake. It was all so good. We didn’t have any but he makes his own GF pasta as well. Locally owned and operated. When we are anywhere near here will definitely go back. HIGHLY recommend. You can read more about the dishes we had on my instagram (bakedtoorderglutenfree).

This is my favorite gluten free friendly restaurant I have ever eaten at. I am allergic to wheat; the owner's wife and son both have celiac and he put SO much effort into explaining all of the options to me (there are a ton!). I have never felt so accommodated and catered to at a restaurant, the owner and the waitress were so sweet and excited for me that I could experience REAL gluten free food without the typical cross contamination disclaimer. Eat here if you get the chance!!

Was on vacation but wished I was closer because if so would be here often. Also has gf breakfast which can get homefries because they have dedicated fryer!!!

GF manicotti, garlic bread, and fried mozzarella! What a gem of a restaurant! The exterior is deceiving; step inside and you will be magically transported to GF heaven! The staff and service are also excellent, and we came in on a day they were making the GF pasta, so that was cool. They also sell their pasta on Amazon, and it was very good and made from chick pea flour.

OMG! I have never had pasta I liked better...even before I went GF. The GF cherry cheesecake was just like gramma's secret recipe, and they even had GF fried mozzarella. I was in heaven. Then I got the bill. $31.36 for two people? This place has only been open 2 months, but the make GF pasta fresh! Morons can wait for 2 hours for a mediocre dinner on the beach or drive a few miles and have them ultimate foodtastic experience.

Tried Hawk's Nest today. Owner's wife and son are celiac so they are very knowledgeable. They make their own GF pasta using chickpea flour. They also sell the pasta and their homemade sauce. Owner mentioned wife makes dessert cheesecake and it working on a GF recipe for the restaurant. Definitely a great find. Especially for this area. Good GF restaurants are scarce. They serve breakfast, luuch and dinner and do take out.

It is so hard to find GF options in Daytona but this place provides wonderful options. It’s so easy to go somewhere and find gf pasta but this is the first place I have been that makes homemade pasta in house , before your eyes! And I am not talking spaghetti or penne. I don’t know what type of pasta it was but there was about four flavor choices and multiple homemade sauce choices. They have a dedicated fryer and can make a variety of things Gf. We had fried cheese that was delicious/ They brought GF garlic bread. They even have breakfast served there. If you are nervous about the preparation you can discreetly watch because everything is made at grill at the bar. Owner is very knowledgeable as two family members are celiac/ It doesn’t look like much from outside but it’s a nice local place that has good prices for the beach. We had huge serving sizes. 30 min later I haven’t gotten sick. I will eat here again!

Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior. This place is delicious. They make gluten free pasta, salad dressings, garlic bread, and fried mozzarella in house. I was in heaven! Super friendly owner and a clean bathroom to boot. It's well worth the drive from orlando! Owner's wife and daughter have celiac, and he is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Even the vodka in the vodka sauce was gluten free.
