We had dinner at Meridian, the restaurant in the Headlands Lodge & Spa, and we had a very nice experience.
When we inquired about eating there, they were up front about not being able to guarantee absolutely zero cross contact because they do work with gluten in the kitchen, but they were very educated in celiac and cross contact and took every action against it. I ordered the burger, and it came on a bed of arugula, and they roasted some fresh veggies in a pan for me instead using chips from the fryer (and they didn’t charge extra for the swap, which I was grateful for!). I had a very positive experience and did not have any reactions afterwards.
I think definitely listen to your comfort levels and make sure your server is educated. But, it’s nice to know of this restaurant since there don’t seem to be a ton of options in Pacific City.

This brand new restaurant has a chef who has celiac family members so if you mention your celiac condition to the server, you may get the chef himself to come out and walk you through the menu. Servers are knowledgeable as well. Oh, did I mention the food is creative, fabulous, locally-sourced and beautifully plated? Delicious!
