They always have GF bread for toasts and sandwiches and GF cookies and muffins. They do keep GF pastry in case with gluten pastry but I have never had a problem. Coffee is meh though and whole place is expensive

Been twice, both times have been wonderful. They ask if allergy or preference, and it will take extra time for allergy which is obviously so appreciated. Had the Bahn Mi & Cubano with dairy-free cheese and both were phenomenal— made on their gf bun/biscuit which was delicious.

The staff did state that they cannot guarantee there won’t be cross contamination, but that they take precautions. I felt like they were just covering their butts, and felt ok with that. The items on the receipt did say “gluten allergy”. Menu not marked gf but states “most” can be made gf. Food was delicious. Fresh. Tasty. Cookies are super large and soft in the middle. There were about 4 or 5 options for gf desserts.

Really charming little place. Friendly staff and usually a GF muffin is available in addition to buns for a delicious BEC.
Staff seemed knowledgeable. Sandwich was delicious. All fresh ingredients. They didn’t press it due to cross contamination issues.
GF sandwich and cookie were great! They also offered other baked goods, a variety of chips, and tons of drink options
Best cappuccino and gluten free chocolate chip cookie I ever had. Haven’t tried anything else yet but I will be back.
Super cute and cozy cafe in the heart of Old Wethersfield. The menu isn’t huge, but there are options. The staff is small and will do their best to accommodate you, although they do not have a dedicated kitchen area, they are aware of allergy / Celiac requests and will clean surfaces, use fresh utensils, and are knowledgeable about what you can eat from the menu. They do have GF bread for all their sandwiches. I got a salad and butternut soup, with a chai eggnog and all of it was delicious. They also have a market inside with some GF snack options, as well as local goods like maple syrup, produce, etc. This is probably your best GF option if you’re in Old Wethersfield.
