Great tasting Hawaiian food, but have occasionally experienced mild symptoms of cross-contamination after eating here.

Portions are a bit small but the food is incredible. We had to wait an hour for a table so I would recommend take out. Only items on the menu that are off limits are the short rib and Mac salad.

Had the Kalua pig with rice for dinner last night. So good. Glad I have leftovers for today.

Great local food! Staff was super sweet and I can eat everything here except Mac salad and short ribs, which is great because I deal with Hashimotos and can’t have cross contamination. This place isn’t fancy but definitely delish. They’ve got a number of awards on their wall and Man vs Food guy goes there a lot just to eat. It’s really inexpensive too. I ordered to go food after I ate there just so I can eat some later—That good!

Staff was knowledgeable when I first arrived told me to avoid the ribs. They did bring me Mac salad but it was easy to avoid as it was in a separate bowl.

Really enjoyed this authentic Hawaiian restaurant! Everything we tried was delicious! Great experience on our last evening in O’ahu. We can officially mark poi off our bucket list. Great staff.
This classic, ethnic Hawaiian establishment is worth the visit! Everything is GF besides ribs (soy sauce) and macaroni salad. Yummy real Hawaiian food and they were knowledgeable about gluten.

We really wanted to try authentic Hawaiian food. We called this place on a whim and they thought the only things with gluten were the macaroni salad (obviously) and the ribs (contains soy sauce). It was delicious and I seemed to be fine, but I'm not super sensitive. I would double check and make sure it's right for you.
