Went for the first time a couple of weeks ago. First popped by the Saturday Covent garden outdoor market as they have a table there and were so impressed that we then drove to the bakery to see what else they offered. Excellent gluten free desserts.

It’s hard to find gluten free baked goods in london especially without risking cross contamination and I’m so glad I found Helm Baked. I’ve yet to try a dessert that I haven’t loved and my friends and family who eat gluten love this bakery as well!

My first experience with Helm Baked was a fantastic surprise! A coworker picked me up a chocolate chunk sea salt cookie from Locomotive Espresso one day. When I saw it, I said “No way, not a chance this is GF”, but she assured me they told her it was. At first bite, again “Absolutely, not a chance this is GF!” I have been GF for 14 years and have never tasted a GF cookie so delicious. I was in disbelief and made the trip to Locomotive to confirm for myself. This, was a game changing day for sure! I discovered Helm Baked and have never looked back. When I am in south London on a Friday or weekend I often make a stop and load up! My taste buds and belly thank me, the scale? Meh, not so much! Hahaha!

Helm Baked is fully gluten free and has some of the most delicious treats available in the area! We've ordered birthdays cakes and cookie boxes, and also just stop in regularly for cookies, scones, hand pies, all of it is so good!
